Alright, this is just an opinion but I think the blood mage needs to have some sort of energy drain like assamilate. All the other class's have a way of taking away energy as well as gaining energy in some cases but the blood mage has none.
Thoughts?

replace bloodlust with a core that drains energy based on your attack damage.

Wow, there are more ridiculous posts like these.

If you want an "Energy draining attack", use the Cores available for your Primary or Sidearm.
Its the best solution right now and the Developers might recommend that rather than the BMs getting a new skill.

#Fatigue issues 4 meh!

Perhaps BMs don't need one. They had the old Assimilation before and it was bad idea. Giving Strength-based skill tree an EP drain is bad idea since they already have high damage output, BloodLust to get HP back, defensive debuff (Intimidate) and draining EP would allow them to destroy build - if Assimilation then even worse (massive abuse).

Cores are good alternative. If BMs get an EP drain then they'll have to get nerfed. Why not leave it as it is, use cores and no nerfs? Seems much better option for me. If you don't wanna waste a core then that's your problem.

reflective boosts lets BM's regain energy, only 15% but some + they get added dex.

How about a skill to replace bloodlust that is both blood lust and reroute put together but only 50% effective as them.

With this argument, mercs should get an energy regain or HP regain, a defence and resistance buff and deadly aim for auxiliaries!

Not all classes will have all skills, the cores can be used to reduce an opponents energy and I doubt that a duel regain is an option! There are some areas that will be looked at in future balance and while I can't say too much, debuffs and passives will be looked at closely!

BMs need a nerf not energy drain.

^ Which is bad since BMs can deal same damage as Mercs but with 50% of BL's regen and some EP back to loop. Assimilation did that, it was bad for a reason.
