To be honest, I kind of wanted to see Dage the Sneevil in OS today. He'd cost 50 Gold in the shops, and have only 1-Attacks and Empower in his deck. That would have been awesome!

Void Knight has one of the neatest Shadow decks; it is small, and much more energy efficient and well-shielded than Black Dragon. Plus, some prefer it to not have Void Reflection like Void Reaper.
And people just like to have a perma-rare character I guess.
Though if you are looking for good shadow characters, Vampire Lord is still better than Void Knight, even if only because VL has Unblockables. Poison Drake can also be just as good or better than VL, with the right draws.

Well, got Revontheus and Frost Lion to 20 today looking for Ogre Shaman. Still no luck.

Dark Types have the most variation in playstyles (probably because there are so many of them).

There's super offensive types: Witchblade and pretty anything else with 1+ Sacrifice. They can occasionally one-shot enemies at lower levels. Witchblade (possessed, not Boss), can even rival Py

There's also defensive: Dark-types that rely on Poisons and Marks for most damage. I can't think of a good example off the top of my head, they take longer to kill their enemies.


I personally enjoy offensive Dark-types better because they are faster in battle, and there's less guesswork involved in how much damage the opponent can inflict the next turn.
