off topic, seems like there's someone here not happy with the game. But then, y bother to comment??

on topic. BM is likely to be the most balanced class right now IMO. i have been a BM from the start of Omega and i always find my way to survive with all the nerfs coming in. currently, im using a 5 focus BM. It's not that powerful compare during Delta phase but it's still very reliable. The biggest nerf that hurts our class i believe is the nerf of Deadly Aim. As you can noticed, our gun is the only reliable heavy damage we can produce (since bludgeon is very blockable, strength is nerf, and we can't afford to be a caster mage due to our lack in energy). But still, BM cannot be easily beaten. i just hope for a replacement with Supercharge because obviously, it is the most useless skill for BM. ( i haven't even seen a single BM with supercharge even at level 1, i know the dev's had noticed that). BM has no passive armor, no malfunction or smoke and our bloodlust will only work well if we can deal heavy damage which currently we can't due to massive nerf on strength. in summary, BM is currently on 4th or 5th strongest class in the game. not ahead of BH, TLM, CH, and even TM.

I would also say BM is by far the most balanced class out there, I don't find it OP or UP it's just between. For 1v1, I would say BH and CH, those can be a pain to fight, especially with SA + Reflex Boost + High dex combo.

so i am checking the posts ( not all of them of course, there's 2 pages :P) and it seems that people are saying that TM needs an abvious buff , but are u kiding me ? merc is the bottom of every list , i am not saying it is UP at all , my friend is a lvl 33 merc , he wins like 35/40 battles ( including lvl 35 , he kills lvl 35 easily ) i just want to say merc is not that weak .
plus : as a TLM , TM are very hard to defeat

BH ( abviously needs a debuffing , BH is always OP because of every thing in that skill tree ) but still is needs buffing

no idea :P
( 2 vs2 is so out of balance ) i rarely play 2vs2

@above Agreed that Merc is not as bad as a lot of people have said. I face them often as a tlm and only win about half the time.

none, its how you play with it that makes you a good player.

@truc: That's how it should be, but it isn't how it is right now. Players with pretty much no experience and previously horrible 1v1 records can win a large amount of their fights just by copying a build such as merc strength or BH focus, because luck and simplicity rather than strategy pervades and dominates ED.

I dont see why BHs need nerfing. I'm a BH who's using +5 focus and i lose quite occasionally. It all comes down to luck and a bit of skill.

My own personal list of the current strongest class would be,

1. BMs. What can i say? They are not very reliant on their energy so emp doesn't affect them much. DA got nerfed but still hurts, and bloodlust with the +5 focus hard hitting bots are dangerous as well. Bludgeon, when it connects, are fatal. They pretty much counter me in almost every way and forces me to be more aggressive than them when i play defensively.

2. CHs. The evolution of BHs. PA + SA + 5 focus + malfuction. Nuff said.

3. BHs. BHs with +5 focus builds are the only ones i have problems with, but only in the right hands or when i make a mistake.

4. Tlms. I make them eat 3 emps. Nothing much they can do but stall for time to power up their IAs. They only win against me when they are able to deflect a few times. ( Which seems pretty often to me considering how i have 86 tech. )

5. TMs. Only caster mages are effective at the moment in my opinion. But even then, a couple of emps and an energy shield just counters them pretty much all the time.

6. Mercs. I have NEVER, lost to a merc after the str and hybrid armor nerf. And the only reason how i will lose to them would be if they had blocked and deflected me several times. Other than that, they pretty much have no chance. But I have fought a few mercs who had me sitting on the edge of my chair. So i can say that all hope is not lost for the mercs.

I have never entered a single 2v2 match since the start of omega, so i wont know much about how the classes are listed there.

Dunno, all classes have their weak points. I personally (as a 5 focus level 33) have a hard time with CHs and TMs. I only get trouble with other BHs when they are higher levels than me or I get blocked or crited (same with Mercs and TLMs). I have an easy time with BMs if I block all their stuff.

1v1:

1. Bounty Hunter: Smokescreen, EMP Grenade, and Bloodlust alone makes this class good. Reflex Boost allows them to regain energy, and Energy Shield to counter Malfunction.

2. Cyber Hunter: Malfunction, Static Charge, and EMP Grenade to hinder the opponent. Plasma Armor helps against Malfunction, and Defense Matrix counters Smoke Screen. They also have access to poison earlier, which can help against tanky builds.

3. Tactical Mercenary: Reroute tends to work against them because they have too many defenses. Atom Smasher is nowhere near as good as Assimilation or Static Charge EMP Grenade. They do not have Smoke Screen, Malfunction, or any buffs to counter them. They are only good for tanking with Infernal Android, if they can salvage enough energy to heal.

4. Blood Mage: Slightly better than Tech Mage, only due to Blood Lust. No energy regeneration or energy inflicting abilities. No Smoke Screen or Malfunction, either.

5. Tech Mage: Assimilation is good when coupled with Malfunction. Reroute allows for little trouble of gaining energy. Technician does come in handy, and Bludgeon can do good physical damage.

6. Mercenary: The worst class, mainly due to no energy regeneration. There's Atom Smasher, but costs energy, and is blockable. There's Blood Commander, but again, costs energy and wastes a turn.

Without a doubt right now it's tank tlm with surgical strike and infernal android. Bounty is strong, but beatable. Tlm is sooooo hard for me to beat. mostly because ss steals my rage and deals 45-60 damage, and then next turn rage infernal android for 45-60. How do you combat that? Luck I suppose, but takes a lot. I win 1 out of 7 or 8 battles against them where as bounty it's 1 in 3.

1VS1 Yes im play 35lvl MERCENARY

BH------- Can be totally op against merc, No matter what build i have. i lose too often and easyly.
TCM------This is VERYHARD to beat if they uses surgigal and IA bot .Normally they outhealing easyly mercenary.
CH------Malf destoy 5 focus totally. emp destoy others builds
TM-----High damage plasmabolt and rage. 2 build is high support and i lose almoust 90% my battles. Malf is too effective 5 focus merc.
BM------Sometimes bloodlust give them too much healt back (criticals and maybe rage) They can out healing mercenay too.
MERC----Fun to play merc vs merc


2vs2

BH-----This is very strong even here
TCM-----Can be extreme tank whit very good healing abilty+ bot
CH----This is good if know how to play.
BM...... attacks can be good even round 1
MERC------Can be tank but very hard to play defence play. Too vulnerable all energy destroy moves.
TM-------This class normal defence is game smallest that make sometimes broplem.BUT this class is good attacks if Teechmage can attack.

BH: The skill tree have way too much sinergy, thats why BH always find the way to be Overpowered and can Block like if there is no tomorrow
TCM: SS and rage IA, or sometimes heal, doesnt matter because they can use generator and take damage to recover energy, enough to complete the ss
CH: Killer of focus thanks to malfunction and also they can block a lot because of shadow arts
BM: Blooslust + Deadly in str build its still somewhat lethal, because they can recover a lot of health thanks to that
TM: I dont see them very often this days, but i see some tech mage still use supp + str build and it does a lot of dmg
MERC: I have tried almost every build as a merc but i never have a good winrate, just if luck its involved, Emp and we are done, it doesnt have a very effective 5 focus, which is the most op build nowadays, debuffs kill us totally if we dont have assault bot, even if we have it we are somewhat screwed, due to all the blocks out there, strenght build isnt a good option. Overall the worst class now, UP in Delta and now again in Omega (a bit op in the beggining but we end nerfed to the ground as always)... sigh [:(]

I'd like to point out that block and deflection depend most on probability as according to a character (e.g. luck) in the end.

As a BH with high Dexterity and maximum Shadow Arts, I essentially never block; this is due to my terrible luck.
A class isn't overpowered because of skills that enable defense; neither is a class overpowered because of items that are overpowered, such as Azrael's gear.

For the most part, any class that is overpowered at any given point abuses at least one skill or tactic, and is facilitated or done through the use of Varium.
