1000000% support buff buff buff no more nerf no more nerf !

Banir -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/12/2013 21:09:10)

Just because they are OP compared to what we have now doesn't mean they will be equally as powerful. Heal looping or diamond blades with bloodlust are pretty much the only options because you just keep healing. There's a reason why you nerf instead of buff. If you buff everything, matches go faster. If you nerf everything, matches go slower. The devs chose to slow down the matches for the sake of balance. I don't think anyone wants battles to last 4 turns due to super high damage massacres. Alternatively, heal looping could make matches last 50 turns of healing back and forth. And yes, I've seen it happen.

The Hidden Legend -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/14/2013 2:47:55)

I support making all back to original oped

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/14/2013 3:26:55)

worst balance suggestion ever, you want them to undo all their work and efforts they put on balance adjustments? this is never going to happen.

romanu -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/14/2013 5:02:17)

heal loop TM vs caster TM
smokescreen TLM vs 2 Hits KO merc from beta
support merc from beta vs strength BM

sounds fun

kaiseryeux21 -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/14/2013 5:35:39)

not supported. this will only bring a lot of trouble especially that players nowadays are smart enough to know what the most OP build will be. But its very visible that the current state of balance in game is overwhelmingly broken. 5 focus everywhere??? something not right is obviously going. I guess the devs knew dat. I just hope so. The ED balance team needs some thorough brainstorming in order to put everything into pieces.

sounds like those players should be on the testing team then.

theholyfighter -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/14/2013 7:21:09)

Support. Reset them again and THEN go on with new balance changes. Some of the changes are made in other phases which have a
BIG difference in Omega.

Lord GaGa -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/14/2013 17:03:20)

Supported. let's all just admit it.. the game was more fun that way

Mother1 -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/14/2013 20:49:43)

@ lord gaga

If having a duel last 2-3 turns while destroying planning, and having the person who goes 2nd rely on luck is fun then by all means I agree.

Dual Thrusters -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/14/2013 20:58:21)

Actually I do not support anymore.

Making the classes OP would just give every class a default build, meaning Cybers need to heal loop or they will lose, Mercs need to be strength or else they will lose and so on. It would just ruin the game. Anyway Rabbles is already working on doing something "special" with focus.

suboto -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/14/2013 22:44:26)

heres a wacky idea bring back enchantment or prime omega 2.0 enchantment +2bonus stats per non var item +3bonus stats per var item and +4bonus stats per promo item =u recieve 1 per 5lvls starting at lvl20 to even out scaleing. (more less 100% equal builds..... which result in oh im at my max and im loseing non stop by luck :/ whats the point and quits). Which is why i urge something like this is a much need. Nowa days people look around :D i gotta match this item umm nom nom color blast power xD.

chusen -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/15/2013 0:43:25)

i support
else we all end up focus build -.-

Blitzex/Sr. Zeph -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/15/2013 4:20:26)

Returning everything to OP?
That would make everything equal and not OP, since everything is ''OP''

mew626 -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/15/2013 5:14:30)

If everyone is cheating, then no one is cheating. If everyone is OP'ed then no one is OP'ed, instead of the current state where most of the class but not ALL of the class are nerfed results in the un-nerfed class being OP'ed, as with the current case of TLM. No one has complained about TLM being overpowered prior to the current nerfs to the other classes, but due to the recent nerfs, the setback has pushed other classes behind of TLM. Instead of trying to push classes behind in order to achieve balance, WHY NOT push it ahead?

Blitzex/Sr. Zeph -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/15/2013 8:18:25)

^ Exactly, but whenever they buff something, it results in a nerf a week later, due to them not testing it accurate enough.
Like Blood lust, they buffed it to bring BMs back to normal, yet didnt saw the consequences it gave on the BHs.
Another good example is Assim, they buffed it and how, which resulted in a nerf shortly after.

I think the testing team needs to be more accurate and test every single build, not only the builds that got nerfed/buffed, since a nerf to 1 build can result in a buff to another build, like now TLMs who didnt received a single nerf which made them now OP to the rest.

Buff more, nerf less.
If it gets done accurately, we will achieve balance.
If not, it will be the start of omega all over

The Incredible Hulk -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/15/2013 8:25:16)

I really want new game modes. the game is just too boring for me

Mother1 -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/15/2013 8:47:54)

@ zeph

If you haven't noticed their buffs have hardly have been accurate.

For example look at the plasma bolt buff done over a year ago. Plasma bolt is now so OP that even with tank like resist if you have enough tech you can go through those like they are nothing.

Then look at the support buff before the yeti tourney. That buff cause support to run rampant for that week.

Bloodlust buff was more then they wanted as well so it got nerfed down once again.

I can see why they don't buff because when they do it they overshoot their buffs.

Blitzex/Sr. Zeph -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/15/2013 8:52:04)

^ Did i said otherwise?
i said:
quote:

So youre saying exactly what i also said.
They need to test it more accurate then their doing now to achieve a good buff instead off a buff that makes it OP.

If "something special" is to nerf focus build then this is the end of game (i mean it)

This. This is the most ridiculous, most common, and most fundamental assumption anyone who is agreeing with this suggestion is making. It is as if there are only three stages of balance: UP, balanced, OP. That is simply not the case. There are different reasons why a certain build was OP, and different shades of OPness. To reduce balance to such convenient and thoughtless simplicity is to undermine everything EpicDuel is built upon. Amongst the 'OP' builds, there are those which never have been OP, those who are easily countered by contemporary builds, those which are highly difficult to defeat, and those who are so inherently overpowered that letting them loose in a state of no restriction would effectively redefine OPness and repolarise the game, to no avail.

Stabilis -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/15/2013 10:11:19)

Someone suggested that we can create custom classes. This is near absolute perfection.

Thesoulweaver -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/15/2013 13:04:31)

@Void.
That will blow of the game off the net.
Max Plasma + Max bunker + Max Cheap shot.
No fun.
The class ideas are fine (Adrenaline exception).

If every class is made OP, what is the point of playing? The only reason North Korea hasn't used its nukes yet is because all other countries have nukes too. Therefore, everyone is vary about how one action will affect the reaction.
And besides, if all classes are made OP, only some certain skills will be used once more. IT is only the unused skills which need to be buffed. And even now, with all the OPness and Focusness( Is that a word?) running around, people still need to be worried about how luck can affect the battle and be prepared for it.

goldslayer1 -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/15/2013 13:59:44)

Max Plasma + Max bunker + Max Cheap shot.

this would require alot of energy points and skill points.
(i suggested the idea of custom classes)

custom classes will have its limit.
if u wanna read up on it, http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=21218242
theres a link to the thread.

Thesoulweaver -> RE: Lets return all classes to being OP that way its still fair (4/16/2013 11:09:05)

Limits are fine, but as I said, all the classes have some idea It would seem very odd if a base BH started throwing Lightning around. A better thing to do will be custom passives.
