Interesting update. Gives me a reason to play again.

But I got an itching question. Will the level cap be raised any time soon?

With the level cap being at 35, it's kinda restricting quite a number of builds i have in mind. Plus since weapons and armors can now scale in levels, I actually think raising level caps once every 3 or 4 months might be viable, especially since enhancements were removed. It's no wonder why almost every class got similar stats.

I'm also interested in what do Purified Spores do as an individual player. It does keep track of the ones you've released...

I really like the new updates, especially the pvp drop. But Isn't it quite weird when the spores is in some of the players body yet we don't see our body changed?

I'm pretty sure there is a tiered achievement, for the amount of spores you release as well as the credits!

I feel you. -.- I've gotten one of 'em Purified Spores atm, 10 seems like a major effort. Farming for spores seems awful as well, for once, I blame imbalance but in 1v1 instead of 2v2. I see 2v2 as more playable than 1v1.. :|

i like everything in this update except for the purified spores. I mean, you need to have atleast 10 purified spores in order to release and add to the percentage. I guess getting 10 spores is virtually hard because of many luck issues. Its pretty hard for a player to win so many battles. not to mention that the spores doesn't have a 100% chance to drop. I hope the dev's would consider that.

I may not be the first one to know/say this but they fulfill our wish. There is finally a repeatable mission:D, even though its hard, its still good to know there is a repeatable mission.

The new deflection cores... I've been using them (the ones that reduce deflection chance by 7%) and yet I get deflected more then I did without them.

^ Only the purify spores can be obtained more then 10 times.

This is an assumption that is based on the average age of the players here, and claiming that it is always true is simply incrrect. The fact that the majority of ED players are now in the 6-13 age group rather than the previous 14-17 and 18-25 age groups changes things. People aged 6-13 inherently have less of a grasp on mathematical concepts, long term impacts of changes, and almost never take into account how things that benefit them will affect others.
There are some people who legitimately just want the game to stop dying. I know that it's always said that the game isn't dying, but the playercount speaks for itself.

When i try to push for very drastic changes that will get rid of the scaling issues present within the games engine (something i haven't actually done for a while because i know it won't happen), it's because i'm trying to get the ED devs MORE players and money.
ED makes more money = AE more likely to increase the budget of ED and more inclined to give pay raises to the ED staff, both of which end up in a better game, happier devs, happier players and a more stable environment.

The reason you see so much feedback that is poorly thought out and heavily biased is because the way that this games balance is handled actually discourages people from putting large amounts of time and effort into their feedback.

When proper balance is achieved you will lose players who want to feel overpowered. You have to accept this, you cannot make everybody happy, but currently you have this problem:
ED is filled with players who want to be OP, and the playerbase is low. Fixing balance will get rid of these players, but will bring in a substantially larger number of players than you lose.
Claiming that mechanical problems are based on peoples judgement of fair is again another assumption based on the average age of the ED player. Balance is based entirely in math when it comes to a PvP game, judgement of fair only applies in PvE.
Another thing to note is that the majority of balance changes (easily 97%) suggested by players are not core changes, but bandaid fixes because we've seen from 4 years of experience that core changes simply will not be implemented properyly, on the correct scale, or at all.

I agree the balance has improved, but literally none of it will last. Every single balance change made in the last few years breaks as soon as the level cap starts rising again.

Assuming the Purified spores have the same 8% rate as the Egg hunt had (40% in total, 8% for each egg type), it'd take an average of 125 wins to get one set.

It's no wonder the meter is slow.

Hm. that's fine and all, but... these are things that should be made clear in-game. It's an incentive for people to make an effort, but even outside that, people will make noise over how they didn't know about this, and how it's unfair. and on a level, I agree.

I was getting Beast Spores really slowly, seeing how I was at 3 while the others were at 10/9/8 (Purified at 13), yet I suddenly had a huge influx of them, eventually finishing the almost the same time as Masters.It's just an effect of the 8% rate. It's low enough to make it possible one comes of as more rare.
