Now that focus is in-line, I think we can start balancing the bots.

The one bot which is near useless is the Bunny Bot.

This ability, albeit cool, is useless.

No-one. No-one uses strike.

Even in Juggernaut, no one uses strike.

The special ability is useless.

To make it actually useable, it should trigger on either all melee attacks, or on all cores,gun,aux, and robots.

So making your opponent skip a turn because they don't want to attack themselves is worthless? I don't think so. This is very useful especially in situations where you need a turn to use your rage, need a turn to heal, or in two vs two you have a partner who uses a yeti.

Also at lower levels this bot is extremely useful since most lower level I used this bot on don't have full gear or any gear and has to rely on strike.

As for your buff ideas nope those would overpower the bot since every move would trigger this special and make it a I can do anything core for 3 turns.

The bot is only good for npc Obviously. Shulda thought about it before you bought it.
It has Never been useful to me in a 1 v 1 or 2 v 2 even the old assult bot is better (in p v p). But it is great vs npcs.

Lol? Why would they skip a turn? They can use their skills,gun,aux,core,robot.

Never happens, people can use other attacks.

Well if it is for lower levels, why does it cost 30k credits?

That can be changed, obviously, the whole point of this topic is to figure out how to actually make it useful.

@EpicIsEpic The robot if fine you need to use it on the right moment, dont are a special that need to be spammed or used in Rage, you need to use on a tactical way.

@ansh0 The situation appear and you need to use it right, some people had more res tan dex and wait to use all me physical attacks, use the bunny Bot, to keep me dealing low damage with energy attacks, you need some strategy, and sometimes you can use it to skip your enemy turn.

Lets take MY BUILD
i have (often used skills)
Assim
bludgeon
Plasma bolt
super charge
heal
malf
And if needed Technican and def matrix
now for the non skills
frostshards
sidearm
energy drainer on side arm
aux
concussive shot
generator
Poison effect on robot
In total i often use 14 attacks and only 1 the worst (because it can be blocked, it can apply curse, it can apply frost, it does the least damage ect.) can trigger the robot.
True i was wrong in statement one (it's good only vs npcs it is also good in low level (very low levels)

@EpicIsEpic Because your build dont use Strike doesnt mean all builds dont use it, and a str build rely on strike when run out of energy.

How many str builds have you seen after THAT dimishing...
Support YES str NO.
Str builds have their secondary which is UNBLOCKABLE and also cores. This robot would be very useful in begining of omega (str everywhere) but now nah...

Only playing 30 minutes Str support Mercenary, Str massacre BH, Str support Techmages, Poison str Tlm, Str Mercs, str bloodmages, all these builds use strenght and when run out of energy what use?

let's look a little at merc skills: double strike - melee
intimidate-melee
berserk-melee
maul-melee
atom smahser-melee...

Not a good idea don't you think?

I feel like the bot's effect is too severe if it's triggered, but also way too easy to avoid. They should make the bot's effect harder to avoid, but also make it so that the effects are also weaker.

I don't think ansh0 realizes that it applies for melee attacks, not just regular strike.
For example: I had color blast trigger on me when i tried using malfunction.

How about you try comparing it to Bio Borgs special? At least Color Blast does some initial damage... It's funny how you said "Now that focus is in-line, I think we can start balancing the bots". It seems like you only care about Bunny bot because you bought it and it isn't as good as you thought it would be.

I was on my phone, can't type much on that.

Anyways, I focused on Bunny since it's obviously the most useless of the bunch.

Trust me, I love the bot it's just so... useless.

Shame.

So what if they skip a turn? Is the robot designed to let your opponent skip a turn? Then it'd be made for a stun.

The point I was making is that you are making the opponent play out of their comfort zone to avoid attacking themselves. That is still very tactical and useful. Just because this bot takes some brains to use doesn't mean it is underpowered and useless.

It IS useless. No one would strike; they'd prefer to skip turns. The special only activates upon opponent striking.

he's right about the bot being useless. i have never actually had it work on me. i never even knew what its effect was for the first 13 times i was shot, but just dont strike. jugg, 2v2, or 1v1, i can go 25 turns without having to strike (in best case).
