Ok Guys so as you all know by now glass cannon mages need to be toned down a bit.. Now i am a "glass cannon" mage my self BUT without Azrael gear...
Just gonna say that Azraels Will is the only problem here with Glass cannon Mages being Over powered... IMO

So I think My simple Solution would suffice..

Ok So heres my pitch

Azraels will should NOT stack with DEADLY AIM On TECH mages ,But It can on Blood mages (being that bm is not op with Azrael will..)\

What i mean by it not "stacking" is Meaning that Deadly aim percentages Dont count towards the Azraels will core DAMAGE

I think that the devs should try this first before Digging a grave for tech mages to go Die in. (Nerf the funk out of them..)

Exactly what i was trying to say Except the core should still stack on blood mages deadly aim
just not tech mages DA

it is a term used by some of the forum community (i personally never used the term since it doesn't make much sense to label the build)
when a build has very low defense.

the defense is usually sacrificed for something else like hp, or a specific stat.
think of it this way, its the opposite of a tank.
tanks have high defense and low damage output
"glass cannons" have low defenses and high damage output.

this is why str bms in delta were labelled "glass cannons"
they had low defense but a high damage output with DA and fireball (when the build was "OP")

Glass Cannon is a VERY common old term that has been around for decades.

The firepower of a cannon with the fragility of glass.
AKA ram all your stats into an offensive stat and pray that you kill them before they hammer you into the ground with your crazy low def/res.

Thanks to both Xendran and Goldslayer for the clarification.
Since i now know what he means, not supported.

The build is not OP, it is only fast, our % is only around 60-70% which already states that it is not OP.

EDIT: Never mind i know your a glass cannon mage too you dont want it to be nerfed... or even fixed trust me I dont want it nerfed but FIXED the core is just to powerful with DA and a ton of
strength

As a Bounty Hunter I can say that these Tech Mages are not a problem for me. I usually have around 40% chance to block their malf and when I do block it, they are pretty much dead. When they use Azreal's Will, the gun does 15% less damage and I don't have to click strike.

And dont forget the consequences of this nerf.
Focus TMs and Casters TMs will also get touched by this nerf, without a valid excuse for doing so..

Its not 1 build you're touching, its the whole class.

And like 8x said, one block/deflect and you pretty much lost already.
This build isnt OP, its fast, end of story.

not that his class should have anything to do with it,
the build isn't overpowered. it gets terrible winrates.

if you really wanted a fix, then you would look at the larger picture, and not tech mages.

the larger picture is, HP as a whole is simply too small. which is why these builds thrive ATM.

Ok Well i wouldnt say it gets "terrible" win rates.... but 50/50

But i do agree with you guys it really would affect the whole class so I take back my suggestion.

And gold i do agree with you that hp needs to return to what it was in beta (or delta whatever floats your boat :) )

Problem is though tech mages with high hp and Good offence probably isn't such a good idea.

Str + Support spam builds are absolutely ridiculous already, increasing the HP without rewriting all the stats will do nothing.
This game is now totally unbalanceable without rewriting major systems due to power creep.

I don't support the non stacking of azreal's will with TM and it is not because I am a TM either. Just because one build is abusing this why should all builds suffer for this? That isn't fair in the least either.

Well really -9 damage is perfect to nerf azreal. It wouldn't make all builds suffer, just this one, becasue it relies on the gun's damage, whereas a tank TM will only use it forits effect

it will be just like how Celtic Cleaver has no effect when you use frenzy.

Yes it would since all builds would have to deal with that -9 damage from deadly aim not to mention it would make deadly aim worthless to anyone using this when as a TM if they were to use this weapon.

Also frenzy requires a club so of course the celtic cleaver would have no effect with Frenzy since you can't use it with that weapon.

I suggested it before and I will suggest it again remove going first from support and make it work in a way where it doesn't depend on any stat. From my experience with glass cannons and this build they depend on going first. It one of the reasons why it is so effective.

They put you on the defensive by going first, and can pound you hard without worrying about you attacking them.

However if you go first against them you have them on the defensive and with low defenses as it is, they are screwed.
