The problem is the variety of builds.

Tanking isn't the only formidable build, I'm currently using a support build that does wonders.

static charge needs a buff so make it a passive, or make it ignore 50% of their defences.
also make them hav a special version of massacre which gives them 30 or 40% lifesteal.
that would make it balanced

Yes, life steal would be nice.

Static charge won't be passives, because passives are being removed from the game.

make static charge have the same pecentage of regen but make it ignore 50% of their res/defence. make it unblockable.
this would make CH quite offensive and fun. CH are boring and rubbish right now. i can easily pwn them with bounty, real easy.
with a decent amount of str and malf on them;
60 damage
30% of 60 =18
thats a decent amount and also the 50% damage ignore aswell as unblockable would make it better than a normal basic atack

You're kidding, right? That would be OP! But still an interesting idea...

Lower the defenses ignored to 20% and give it a 5% extra chance to connect.

That would be overpowering static once again. The reason why it was so overpowered to begin with was because it could ignore enemy defenses in effect and only block could stop it. Doing this to static charge would once again make it a must have for all builds and when something is a must have for all builds then something is wrong and it needs to be checked out.

they could make static unblockable and 50% defence ignore but at the cost of taking away plasma armour. does that seem fair?

The move is still overpowered. The original static ignored all defenses with the effect but ramained blockable to try and help put some balance to it, but the effect was still overpowered. By making it not only unblockable but ignore 50% of defenses you are giving them a stronger free unblockable hit. Strength builds would have a field day with this one.

No, just lower the % on the defense ignored. 50% is basically a free crit -.-

AND make it blockable

cyber hunters have the coolest skills and a wide range of strategy to work with. stop complaining get high defense poison someone heal and your good. your just abusing the privilege to get help with a class cyber hunters are very strategic more than another class its blood mages that are suffering with their skills on epic duel. [:@] they have no strategy.

But seriously the staff isn't going to be making any balance changes anytime soon.

If you want to get help for Bloodmages so badly why not make a topic about it, and put in actual number as facts to prove that the class is in need of a buff instead of trying to derail another balance thread about cyber hunters.

This is what I like to see, a huge thread I created about trying to get Cybers altered, 'hopefully.' XD

Every class may have their own problems, but Cyber's definitely do because many players have changed class from Cybers. When this happens its definitely a bad sign of the skill tree failure amongst the rest. It's mainly because Cybers 'static charge' sucks big time compared to other classes gaining HP/Energy skill, but just knowing the fact that passives will be removed makes my day. Just hope everyone else will get eventually use to it too, I know I will.. ^^

PS: I'd try make most of passives now before they go after the 'WAR' lol.

Yea, this thread's discussion would really not make much of a difference until we see what the passive-to-active changes do to all the classes.

Cybers may have cool skills, but lack a lot of synergy.

You mentioned dumping stats into defense, which is what everyone currently does -.-

If anything, what if Cyber Hunter was more similar to Tech Mage in its skill tree? Has anyone tried TM before? It has that thing where you have to have Tier 2 skills to learn Tier 3 and so on. I think it would be good if Cyber Hunter worked like that. (I also removed Shadow Arts with Reroute). Assume Static Charge is somewhere about Assimilation and Plasma Armor is somewhere about Deadly Aim.

The point is so a Cyber can't abuse its skill points like TM. But please remember, I know there will be the passives to actives change so this is just a rough idea.

Malf, Reroute, Plasma Armor? No. That's repeating what's happened with TLMs and they cannot have all three, how many times was that said already? Static Charge on top of it? You want abuse?

Like how casters have reroute+assimilate+malf+2 sheilds?

And plasma armor is going to be changed so we don't know about that yet.

They don't have a passive Armor, that's a difference. Furthermore, SC isn't restricted to a class-specific weapon like Assimilation.
