Hey Guys! I am Greek. Since Epic Duel is in " Omega " (Last letter of the Greek Alphabet) does that mean that this is the end? Alpha Beta Gamma Delta Epsilon Zeta Eta Theta Iota Kappa Lambda Mu Nu Xi Omicron Pi Rho Sigma Tau Upsilon Phi Chi Psi Omega

EpicDuel isn't the only game which uses these letters. Nearly all softwares do. Read this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_release_life_cycle Omega probably means end of testing or something. Unlikely that this is the the ending of EpicDuel.

I know that Epic Duel doesn't only use Greek Alphabet as their phase names. I just want to ask everyone, Is this the end?

Chances are we are going from EpicDuel [phase] [version number] to EpicDuel [version number]. Just reaching the end of the greek alphabet does not mean the game is going to die, think about how many games you know that have a phase notation after them and how many just have a version notation after the title

In star trek they name certain quadrants with those letters, and they also have ID codes with those used too

We went with Omega because it just sounded better then Epsilon. By no means does this mean its the end of EpicDuel... will probably transition into another naming convention. Instead of Greek alphabet we could go into the Sumerian or Phoenician alphabet. I personally wouldn't mind going into the fruit alphabet... EpicDuel "Apple" has a nice ring to it. :3

Hopefully Epic Duel doesn't end now. People will be losing a lot of money. Even myself has spent a couple of hundred dollars buying Varium.

They chose Omega because its just a good souning letter in the alphabet, their will probably be a new phase every year or so

I hope no one has high hopes for the next phase just like Omega EDIT: IF there is a next phase EDIT: \/ Apparently every phase has to end with an A EDIT: Epsilon sounds cool

I believe NW said during Delta right before Omega that they were naming it Omega because epsilon, zeta, etc... just didn't sound cool enough (honestly, I really like epsilon, and phi particularly). Plus everyone knows Omega, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta, but lots of people don't really know the greek alphabet at all except for those. Unless you're at a high level in math where you start using sigma, mu, phi, etc... most people would just be like "wtf?" if they called the next phase Upsilon or something.

@Charfade Yes! The Sumerian Language is very interesting! Will make ED sound cooler, if ya know what I mean!
