For those who may not have noticed, I haven't been on the forums lately. I took a temporary leave as I felt this game wasn't fun anymore. To be honest, I was kinda waiting for CC cycles to be finished for many reasons. Anyway, now that I felt the nostalgia of when OS was first released, I decided to hop onto the homepage and I see no release. Extremely disappointed in the route OS has taken. Despite their busy schedule, I never thought OS team would skip out on a bi-weekly release. With this contest, I feel like they are letting the players do their work for them. It is nice to have players be involved in the making of OS, but clearly this is happening because the team is too busy to be involved themselves. As a matter of fact, this game hasn't been creative at all. When they introduce something, they keep it the same. They don't build on their ideas. I'm not trying to bash anything here, i'm just listing some of the things that has set this game on a lane headed straight for south. This game had a lot of potential but now I can't even see it anymore. Now, what they can do to fix these issues is try to be more connected with the community for starters. They still haven't updated their DN page on the homepage since March 25th. If they are busy with so many things, why not keep the official OS community posted? I'm sure the people of OS would love to hear out their struggles. I learned what the Omni project was from you guys for crying out loud lol. Also, they have been speaking of having more quality releases for their bi-weekly releases. Then maybe they should consider in tweaking some of the in-game functions just a tad bit every now and then. Add a thing or two is what I'm trying to say I suppose. Communication and the building of ideas can carry this game a long way. Hopefully, when Beta has finally reached its long-awaited end, will this game improve.
