The fact that OS is a game where we can get as many characters as we want! I play OS only because I can get to catch and use all characters anytime I want! Another reason involve Nulgath and his army. There are many exciting things related to Nulgath so I am going to find out more about Nulgath and so is the "old one" that Nulgath and some other fiends minions like Malakai are referring to.

Possession failed once again on Priest. Got to try again without SG until I had enough money to buy SG.

...I spent 200 SG on permanent Xboosts. If something like that happened, I would be more then just a little mad, as would others.[&:]

I am also hoping for a release this time around, but i would not count on it.

I have spent that much too, but I would rather have the "insane challenge" be fair to everyone, rather than anyone having any kind of edge. And only the leveling process would be affected by this, so you would still get increased gold gain, as well as getting the character itself faster because of more gold gained.

That would waste 200 SG for those who spent their real life money on it. Also think about this, you may not mind about it just for the "insane challenge" but other players who spent 200 SG on 20 permanent x-boosts would not be happy if Nulgath implemented it just as what you suggested about disable the boosts. The boosts are for easy levelling and gold gain for those who want to do the easy way. Some players who can't afford SG will have difficulties and this "insane challenge" you suggested will still cause problem for free players. About this "insane challenge", what are you referring to? I am speculating you mean by the 1 mil gold character you suggested. If you want "insane challenge", there is always a way to have more challenge like quests which I would love to see for OS.

Necro Rouge: Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE some sort of ultra hard challenge. What I'm against is nerfing the XBoosts since people have already wasted lots of collective cash on them. In terms of a Ultra Hard Challenge I'm with you all the way. This isn't the way to do it however.[;)]

Like Megadragonknight said, there are lots of other ways to have an insane challenge besides an expensive character where SG users have a giant advantage.

Yeah like what megakyle and Jop said. We are not against your suggestion about "Insane challenge". Disabling X-boosts is not the correct way. Nulgath will definitely grant your wish about the "Insane challenge" so don't worry about it. [;)] We are looking forward to a challenge and I believe quests will be what we will actually expect it to. Like we need to beat the required boss in the quest so we can access to special shops.

Well, that's sad. I hope Rev sticks to OS once it starts up again though. The only people only working on Oversoul now are Klunk and Dilligaf, I think. I hope they actually commit to the game once Project Omni is over, or else it will just end up desolate like Herosmash.

It HAS been quite a while since HS has gotten some limelight, it had such a neat skill system too. Oh well, maybe if rev goes full time in ED, they might consider scouting for more artists? (hopefully even from the forums) even if just volunteer work.

blackshock: Exactly. I browse around Twitter and Twitpic a lot nowadays. They're actually really good artists (e.g: drDOT, Postmaster General, etc.) that would probably be able to work in OverSoul. AQWorlds consists of a lot of volunteer artists and they're doing great. Maybe OverSoul could learn a tip or two from AQWorlds?

Why must ED chose Rev?! [:(] He is the one of the talented artist that OS needs. Why must the best AE games always take away staff members from other AE games? AQW stole AE staff member from MQ and DF while ED did the same thing. OS will be HS since Dilligaf and Klunk are the only OS staff member and they only produce background music for OS. Nulgath, Warlic and Rolith are busy doing the Omni project and we don't know when it will end. We will need new OS artists in that case. OS don't have enough members and yet they took them away. OS will end up like MQ and HS until it have enough OS staff members to work on new releases. [:(] I am really so pessimistic about this when I heard Rev will be full time ED staff member.

Finally took the time to lvl up my Earth Golem.

Seems like we've been getting a lot of bad news about OS recently it's sad to see Revon go to ED and since I rarely if ever play ED I won't get to enjoy his art much hopefully he will still make art for OS once in a while, as for new artists for the OS team we should really borrow someone from the AQW team I mean they have like 9 different artists they could totally spare 1 or 2 people

Congratz! How many level 20 character you have now? For the artists, yeah, OS need to borrow at least 2 artists otherwise OS can't continue without any artist and Nulgath can't do all the artwork by himself. AQW had plenty of artists so why not transferred some to OS? This will be fair.

Its unknown but since its TLaPD and Friday the 13th, we may have a release but I won't raise my hope that high since Nulgath is too busy with Omni project alongside Warlic and Rolith. Not to mention that even Rev will be transfer to ED very soon. Klunk and Dilligaf remain for now but we hope things will get better for OS asap.

That's totally messed up for OS so once Rev goes to ED here's the team in total for OS:

Nulgath - Head of the project, animator, artist
Warlic - Coder
Rolith - Coder
Klunk - Music
Diligaf - Music

This is getting really bad for OS because now we have minus an artist and I know Nulgath can't do everything himself do what gives? Nulgath now has to do AQW, OS, Omni, and AQ3D so in all is way too much work for one artist to do. I do hope Nulgath gets some help because that is way too much work for one person.

I'm sorry to say, but this game isn't going to go anywhere if developers that are still developing games that is being developed to games that are developed hence slowing down development of the games that aren't even close to being developed as the ones already developed. OS will go nowhere at this rate and although I'm still supporting the game I'm shocked to how this turned out.

Omni was one thing, but this isn't remotely right on terms of supporting OS since now you have one person who is the head now doing art for 4 games in total. Give Nulgath some slack because he is working way too hard along with Warlic and Rolith. Plus I do know Nulgath has an outside project as well so that means a total of 4 games and 1 outside animation.

IKR! Nulgath can't handle so many things at once plus he is the main developer of OS and he should just focus on his own game. Klunk and Diligaf never learn to code or draw, so they can't help out being an artist or coder but rather a music producer for OS. Warlic and Rolith are busy as a coder for every other AE games too. With Rev gone, this is totally a big mess! I am wondering why ED need Rev when they already got some artist! This is truly a big mess. OS need new artists or Rev back.

Edit: Nulgath deserve our total respect for he is capable of handling so many things with one body without any help. He must work as the OS main developer, artists of AQW and other AE games too. Its time Artix need to let Nulgath focus on his own game and leave the rest to others and they got Dage who also have great talent in drawings.

ED has Trizz, Nightwraith, and heck they have their own volunteer artists.

I know OS is under hiatus, but it doesn't seem right that they pull Rev for full time on a game already developed leaving the one team hanging and look how I laid out the team. There is two members in each category: 2 coders, 2 musicians, and 2 artists.

Because they removed Rev, it is now 1 artist while there are 2 each of everything else.

Omni is the future and I get it, but what happens once Omni is done? Will Rev continue full time at ED OR will Nulgath be left doing art for 4 games in which 1 he does animation for and 1 outside animation he does in what's left of his spare time. OS needs those volunteer artists now because you cannot run a game like this when everyone is doing a million things leaving a game with so much potential just rotting because the games already developed are pulling away help.

Omni is developing, but what happens when its done? Rolith still codes for DF and Warlic is coding OS, but then will they get pulled away again for something else? Both of them are the best coders for OS, Nulgath is the best artist and animator for OS, and Klunk and Diligaf are the best musicians for OS.

OS isn't even up to par on terms of development compared to HS and HS has multiple maps and missions to keep everyone busy. After Omni, OS should get the benefit of the doubt and have some work get done on it or it will be in stalemate forever.

It needs one or two volunteer artists and one extra dedicated coder so that when one is busy with something else that one coder can fill in and help with the release.

Yeah! OS really does have potential but because of Omni and ED. OS potential can't be realised. Nulgath must never work for those 3 other games and concentrate only on OS. It will just tire him out and I am certain nulgath had the same thoughts. It will just waste his dreams of developing his own game and only to have Artix asking him to help on Omni project.

Edit: OS need at least 2 artists be it volunteer or other AE staff. But Rev is still the best to work on OS artwork. He is the one who drew many characters and it is seriously very ridiculous for ED to take Rev away from OS as a full-time ED artist.
