No worries High Paladin, I like it when people suggest ideas even if they aren't the most thought out.

Ok everyone here is this weekend's starting screenshot, sorry its slightly late but the clocks in the UK recently went back an hour while the forum ones don't for another few days; meaning I have to take the screenshot at 5 am local time for this round.

It almost seems to me that the monsters in Defend Aerodu are easier than they were before.

EDIT: I have been thinking. What would you guys, (or gals), think to making a "Traveling Trophy" that would be "given" to the current champion to display in their Council Thread for bragging rights. It would be similar to the Stanley Cup where there would only be one and we would keep adding to it so it gets lager as it goes along. I wanted to see what people thought before I spend time making it. Note that it would probably contain in-game art so no distribution outside of the forums allowed.

That sounds like a pretty good idea Heores of the Scape.

As for this weekend theis round is officially over, ending screenshot.
This week Geoto attacked B3 and B4 both neutral areas, Geoto lost 94 points but still takes the areas.
Aerodu attacked C1 and C7, neutral and Nautica territory. Aerodu gained 116 while Nautica lost 5, Aerdou takes C1 and C7
Glacius attacked A6 and A7, Nocturu territory, Glacius lost 2 while Nocturu broke even, gain/loss of 0. Glacius' attack failed.
Lucian attacked B6 and B7, both neutral, Lucian lost 1 but still takes the neutral territories.

Map updates will come when I get the time.
Nice to see so much happening at once, clearly no the best week score wise for Geoto but we seem to have got through unscathed, this time.

Great week everyone!! The war took a toll on the contest this week but it should end this week bringing everybody back.

TBH I am surprised at where Glacius attacked. Considering that the Geoto score went consistently down the whole week I thought they were attacking them.

I will work on the trophy this week and will display it when it is done.

Annoyingly I was traveling all day yesterday and when I left home we were around 15 up :( I should have done a little bit last night, but oh well there's always next week :D

I know what you mean. I was performing with my Rusyn dance group both Saturday and Sunday, kind of cut back on the time I had (though I never have time on Sunday anyway)

Well I'm back with a couple more suggestions.

First, The Waive Defense Option. Basically this allows a clan to choose (maybe a limited) amount of spaces which they wish to not defend. This basically means, anyone attacking that square can get it for free. The idea behind this is for the clan to be able to save points for an offensive onslaught, like maybe finishing off another clan. I haven't seen anyways for this to be used abusively, but there might be ways I've missed.

Another one is the Surrender Space Option. A clan can choose to surrender any number of squares they own to any other clan still on the board. Mostly this is just to help speed up things if a clan is doomed anyway, and/or they would like to give another clan a strategic advantage before they go out. This can be done anytime Monday-Wednesday and if implemented a clan surrendering would post the terms in this thread.

TBH, with the way the game works there is not really a need for the Waive Defense Option. It is merely head to head score with the better score winning. There is no score to overcome besides making sure yours is higher than your opponents.

No worries. I do like that someone is trying to come up with some ideas to add to this contest. If you think of any more feel free to post them. We will look at any of them and try to work them in if the would work well.

The trophy design seems to be coming along nicely Heroes of the Scape. As for you idea of surrendering a space to a clan High Paladin I suppose it makes sense but there are ways it could be used questionably with B7 and B8.

For example, say Geoto takes both areas with only Lucian and Aerodu left in the game, Lucian only has A12 and everything east of B7 and B8 is Aerodu; if Geoto knows it cannot do well next week due to an absence of its key fighters or they fear being overwelmed by 2 opponents they could give B7 and B8 to Lucian to block Aerodu so Lucian would now be under attack by both sides, as Geoto and Aerodu have no where else to attack. Ofcourse if Lucian refuse they will be attacked on A12 and risk elimination.

Hmm yes that would make surrender open to abuse. I will think about ways to prevent that...

Well how about this. If you surrender, you surrender all of your squares and go out of the game. The territory might still be instantly claimed by another clan, but it doesn't profit you in any way.

Also, question. If your clan goes out of the game, are you allowed to aid another clan by defending them/attacking their main opponent? Or is that not allowed/has limits (such as the clan being helped must agree to your help?)

If your Clan is eliminated the only thing you are not allowed to do is send in plans and try to claim spaces. If you are eliminated you can still fight and help another Clan, (so long as that Clan is Aerodu, JK), we cannot prevent you from playing AQ in general. Feel free to jump in and help others.

Also here is another concept for the trpophy. Let me know which one you guys like best and we can roll with it.

Both look good for a baseline Heores of the Scape, the only issue with the second is how are you going to make it look like one consistant trophy, normally the trophy is made of one material and since the Paxia defender and Paxus are different colours I don't see how you plan to do that?

Ok guys thats it, this round of the PUC is over, ending screenshot.
This week Geoto attacked B5 and B8 the first being neutral the latter being Dynami. Geoto lost 2 points while Dynami gained 1643. Geoto took B5 but failed to take B8.
Aerodu attacked C3 and C4, both Igneus territory, Aerodu gained 363 Igneus gained 1 point, Aerodu takes C3 and C4.
Glacius attacked A7, Nocturu territory, and A8, Geoto territory. Glacius lost 20, Nocturu lost 100, Geoto lost 2, so Glacius takes A7 but fails to take A8.
Finally, Lucian attacked C11, Igneus, and B10, Dynami, Lucian lost 17 points, Igneus gained 1, Dynami gained 1643, so Lucian failed to take any areas.

Very interesting weekend, map update will come when I have time to do it.

Damn XD I was so busy writing an essay that I didn't have time to check up on the scores!

Good game this weekend anyway :) I didn't realize the Dynami were so active :L If they continue like this then I think that Paxia will be united under purple instead of green.

Believe me, this score is nothing for them. They have been know to gain 4000+ points in a weekend.
