hi all.
At the moment all class have energy drain/regain skills which work in differerent ways and have different powers, i onestly belive the battles nowdays reley expecially on energy (since passive are gone) and balancing the skills that affect energy is probably the first step for a more balanced game(my opinion), so i wanted to ask what changes u guys would/nt apply to balance the following skills:

ch: static charge, emp granade

bm: energy parassite

tlm: atom smash, battery backup

bh: static granade

merc: static smash

tm: battery backup, assimilation

I would start off by giving classes with only 1 energy skill, another, so that their current energy skill could be balanced with the rest of them without having their single energy skill be outmatched by classes with 2 energy skills.

yeah that could be a great first step, it slighty reduces variety, but it makes balance much easier.

I honestly think giving all classes every type of energy skill is a bad idea.
Classes that had weaknesses in this area became balanced and added variety as a result.
To solve the energy requirement problem they should just increase energy scaling to 2 per stat point.
This means they can reverse some of the balance destroing changes, such as static grenade static smash and high assim.

If energy requirement are even still a problem then increase the base energy of all classes as well.

With high starting energy and drains that have a cost and or are weaker then these skills will return to being usefull rather then being a necessity.
