Patch Notes - 1.5.43


NEW CHANGES/FEATURES:
  • Omega Badge renamed to Survivor and given original style to prevent confusion between this badge and the Omega Phase achievement.
BUGS FIXED:
  • Awarded missing class token achievements
  • Fixed Color Blast not working on Black Abyss Spider
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the flag interface to open on its own
  • The Olympic Games 2012 achievement is now corerectly labeled Rare instead of Seasonal
  • Removed shop option from Rabblefroth as he had no items for sale
  • Blood Hawk E now correctly deals energy damage
  • Multi-target skills (Artillery Strike, Multi-Shot, Plasma Rain) incorrectly cost too much Energy
  • Energy Parasite was still capped to 150 Energy, instead of 1500
  • Bank Bot inventory count didn’t show up until an item was deposited or withdrawn
  • Several missions mentioned higher item requirements than what the mission actually needed

This looks the same as Ch0sens format... But whatever... I understand we won't get a balance update this week, as they just got back from their vacations or whatever. This bug fixes are much appreciated though ED staff, thank you. Hopefully BM will stand better in PvP now. Hopefully next week we'll get some changes. Balance is almost really good now! Then hopefully some more content story wise? :)

I'm glad they got rid of the bug that makes you click your flag. That was super annoying. The multi bug was equally annoying. Thanks.

"Energy Parasite was still capped to 150 Energy, instead of 1500" Is this pertaining to energy stolen or energy returned?

"Multi-target skills (Artillery Strike, Multi-Shot, Plasma Rain) incorrectly cost too much Energy" with the damage reduction along with high tech abuse players Plasma Rain is still not worth to use because energy is too valuable to waste on low damage skills.

I had tech at 100 + 30 and only got over 500 damage once getting less than 500 damage more often while Bunker buster with lower tech and between levels 5 through 8 getting the same or high damage going critical more often.

Do you know Lord Xeno? He is BM and he have a really good BM 1vs1 build. If you find him, ask for his help.

I wanted to see the nerf to assimilation...It s all there s left to do then pvp will be fun.

^ Kinda biased. I hope BHs get nerfed into oblivion, then PvP will be fun - until next overpowered build comes along. Balance, not bias.

I see this as them knocking out some easy to fix bugs and releasing a quick patch before moving on to tackling bigger issues instead of letting these bugs linger while they have been fixed on the testing server

No, Trans, at the current state that' s really all theres left to do.
A class couldn t prevail on others as it does now and this is what makes the game fun for me and for the largest portion of the players.
It' s not the perfect balance but for sure it would be the best until now.
And if I am biased is because since a few month evry week there s a different overpowered class and this game became totally pay to win, wich makes me think they want to keep it this way...All you have to do is change class evry week and you ll have the best record, no matter how skilled you really are.This will make players feel bad both if they re using the op class or not.
If the rotation of the overpowered classes wouldn t be so fast we could save credits to change class, but making balance changes by steps only brings a different op class evry week draining all you have got.I understand balance can t be made all in one, but not even so often as they re doing now.

@Calogero must be a new bug created by this patch because prior to this my Assim would be limited to what every they had left. And by they I mean NPC's because god knows I wasn't going into a PvP match

great... Let's see how long it'll take before this gets fixed...
So, OP classes Tech Mage and Bounty Hunter, Strenght seems to be the flavor, tanking doesn't do ANYTHING now.
Think you can survive a Rage Android at +500 health... wrong.
Strenght Poison with Necrosis also seems to be a flavor build.

Noticed that everything got even less balanced with start of Omega.
Delta was bad but man I could cry now for the devs and say to myself, what are they doing.

The problem, still, is the fact that we have low defences. We no longer have Enhancement points which could be added to make a build with high defences. Plus the limitation on how much stat points you can have on Strength, Dexterity, Technology and Support is also a problem.

I've talked to him a little bit. Don't really know him. I wouldn't need his help even if I was a BM. I'm a BH, have been since the end of Delta. They really need to tweak my class a little bit, and some bigger changes on TM and BM.

Really I am glad they did way with those enchancements. Talk about overpowering players.

How do you hope BH gets nerfed into oblivion? What's OP about the class right now? It isn't really the class, just the way stats are working on the new system that favors them so well.

Well, seems like the use of sarcasm was poor. I was basically saying what kosmo did, but my version. Nerfing one won't change anything - only because your build is weak against it - because something else will arise and the loop will continue.

I'd like to ask to keep the snarky remarks to yourself everyone. Sarcasm usually leads to flaming since the message comes over the wrong way.

@Scyze, I actually don't feel this is a limitation but rather as an interesting challenge to optimize my stat points to the maximum for my specific build and keeping a secondary stat by hand if I got leftovers.
I didn't experience the enhancement points but I don't feel like I missed something.

@One Winged Angel1357, I are most likely correct and we might be able to expect "the real stuff" the next weeks once the festivities leave our blood stream and the day by day basis returns :p

I now take an average of 1 hour to win 5 2v2 battles as a level 35 5 focus BH. Screw daily missions - I'm not spending 1h+ just for a puny 20 credits in an arcade token. I think I'll go back to NPC farming until I'm level 40. Or I would, if not for the fact that it's easier to gain EXP/credits by losing than by NPC farming.

Up until Level 10, NPCs give you Experience - full amount.
