@The Jop The wiki most likely did it so people wouldn't know about it. That way the excessive refresh farming will stop. That's what we get for mentioning the area too much.

If that page got deleted, it's most likely because they thought it wasn't a clearly defined unique zone. No need for conspiracy theories like that xD You can find the Gentleman anywhere, remember? I for one found him in the central mountain where Skexis used to be. Only things there are Young Paladins, Blood voids, and cave zards.

And anyways. . . .*ahem* I take a break from Oversoul, come back, and looks like a lot of things have happened here. . .I feel so left out. [>:]

About the 10 gold thing. I really despise that idea. I agree with Jop's about how you have a chance to lose a turn. Why? 10 Gold? Seems like nothing. But it builds up, and to people with no, or minimal boosts,
it just downright sucks. Maybe you should make a new account without boosts and try it out for yourself. . . -_-

I'm thinking about maybe, when you try to run and you fail, your enemy becomes more ''hostile.'' It will try to kill you faster + Lose the turn.

10 gold here. . 10 gold there. . .do you know how stupid it is to fight the same darn Trainee over and over again. Those little punks . . . wish they can just go extinct.
But staying on track, 10 gold here, 10 gold there, and soon you lose a lot of gold. . . and it can be easily recovered with XP boost. Even one XP Boost can cover for it. So all it does is
discourage Free-players. Not the people who buy XP boost.

I do have one XP Boost forever, but really. . . . speaking for those without Boosts. . .I've farmed enough without XP and with XP boost (1). . .and one does have a big difference. . . [:D]
Gold is real important. . . .and it isn't easy to get them. And battling could get repetitive. It just doesn't get more boring than that. . . .

I know people who support the game should have an advantage. However, F2P players can't be ignored either. . . .I won't go into detail with that. . . I'm sure you guys can think why. So far you've been the smartest Forum I've visited. . [:D] Others can be dumb as wood. .. and more probably. .

I know, F2P characters such as Xmas Elf and Volt Engineer, or even Gentleman. Though in my personal opinion, I don't care for characters that much.
I like to choose a small group of characters that I like, and play with them the majority of the time. Nothing else. That's why my Elf is only level 4, and my Gentleman is only level 6. .. Still like my Lightning Wolf/Void Rebirth. . though probably I'll train my Gentleman a bit.

I guess we'll just have to look toward the future for better updates. :/ You know what? I'm going to go to the ''What would you like to see?'' and add a suggestion to my big post.
And ehrm. . .this may be a bit off-topic. . .but uhm. .. anyone want to read my Wishing Well idea. . read it fully. . . there are two posts on it. . .. and give a review? :O That'd mean a lot. Thanks.
But my newly found idea was that Oversoul make a section on the homepage called ''Future Updates'' or ''In Works'' or ''Working On'' or something. Or ''Developments'' or something. Talks about future updates. :D Or gives a list of them at least.

Anyways. . . since Nulgath said no Flee button. . .I guess he'll have to find some way to fix these fragile servers. What can fix these. . .. ? Add more servers? Cause the way I see it, this ''Refresh'' farm
isn't going away anytime soon. :P
And even if you say ''It isn't right'' or ''You're not supposed to'' doesn't eliminate the fact that people are still going to do it.

@Axel: I believe in the time you spent trying to catch Gent, you surpassed me in the total amount of level 20s I have. Indeed, boosts are a work of true wonders.

I am neutral with Flee Button. If some are not satisfy with Flee Button, just ignore it and continue with your battle no matter how much you are against the Flee option. Simple as that.

Hmm I just purchased a gen 1 nexus 7 tablet. Is it possible to play oversoul on it, if so, how do I go about it?

@axel - wow 6 lv 20s. I have like 4 in total. That's some dedication. Did you SG gentleman then?

My opinion on the flee button is this - personally i see no harm in incorporating this into os. I also see no need to add requirements, such as paying gold to flee, should you decide to flee. Nulgath should cater to everyone and I think most people would be fine with a flee button with a VERY minor penalty (such as the possibility of failing to flee) - Whatever makes the players happy. IMO we could use more players. I see little point in making free players life more difficult, especially when you take into consideration most players are probably free players. Unless you like dead (compared to the old days) lobbies.

Think of another penalty instead of Gold, all you'll hurt are Free-players.. . . . .and these AE emoticons. . . . I don't like'em. . . . Lol.

Moving on, how about ''Stamina?''

There will be a stamina bar. . . 50 Stamina is 100% when you first start the game.. . . and as you progress, you'll ''grow'' and earn more space for more stamina points. Or you can speed it up and buy them with Soulgems/Gold.
But probably Soulgems. . . .just so you buyers out there won't feel ignored. :P

Fleeing will take up Stamina, depending on what Monster you're fleeing from. The amount of Stamina it takes depends on what number their ''alignments'' are. ..

For example, escaping a little trainee will take up maybe 5 stamina points.

Escaping a damn Behemoth will take up 45 stamina points.

The stamina bar will slowly replenish itself as you battle, chat, move around, stand in lobby, etc.

Above: I can see what you mean with the animations. I'm not a fan of the Happy New Year that appears with the shield, or the rather bland 5 hit attack also with happy new year. But it's a Gentleman and the other attacks are good.

@DYKT: I guess it's alright, but I still don't support a flee button. It's going to be hard since allignmenets haven't been added offficially yet. They might have a red/light/neutral circle, but it's not quite a finished feature yet.

I would not mind seeing a limited amount of use a hour for a flee button. That way, it can't be spammed, there's no cost, and when the hour is up you can keep fleeing. Everyone wins.

Didyouknowthat: Failing that, maybe make it dependent on energy? Like, you lose one energy each time you flee, so flee five time and you start off your 6th battle with no starting energy and have to fight it, since the button works on the start of battle. Of course if you win a fight you get the 5 energy as normal. The idea needs a bit of work, but basically use energy as flee cost is what I'm saying.

On a side note, I finally caught the mana guardian. And, I did it with my lvl 11 Cupidtheus(which leveled up afterwards!)!

Ligerbread: ...That's sort of the point. It's supposed to be a penalty for running too much. I can see the issues though. Like I said the idea needs work, but basically you use Energy as a run cost in a similar manner to Didyouknowthat's stamina idea.[;)]

Using Energy as a Flee Cost would be an interesting idea. Nulgath still have the final say and consider he did stated about implementing a Flee Option, its safe to assume for one but to play safe, butter not to hope that much.

I have an idea for the fleeing penalty. Not sure if anyone's thought up of it yet, though it's quite similar with the stamina system. I'd like to call it the bravery system (NOTHING to do with dissidia's bravery). Basically for every kill, you gain bravery points, every time you flee, you lose points. Every random encounter checks your bravery stat. Every few points adds a really small percentage bonus to catch rates (not big enough to make em OP, but if you farm really hard, it starts to pile up). Sure, it doesn't eliminate fleefarmers entirely, but it motivates people to actually farm instead of fleefarming.
