We find 6/7 crystal shards -> Oh noes, 7th one is stolen by Nulgath -> Nulgath destroys 7th crystal shard -> Oh noooes . . .I guess you're an Oversoul forever now -> Fights Nulgath ->

Almost dies -> Flees -> I'm not sure what's next. Lololol.

Actually, I think they're artifacts, not crystal shards. Artifacts that, when combined, may give us enough power to stand a chance against Nulgath.

All that has been said is that they revive us though, I doubt it gives power.

According to the design notes: Artifacts: Explore an open world map! Through random encounters, you can discover hidden areas, rare characters and artifacts! Artifacts will enhance one of your powers but diminish another. So choose wisely.

I did find the interview Nulgath did about Oversoul though, and he called them the 7 "Crystal Artifacts". Go figure.

Aye, the DN's do give that as a definition for an Artifact, but, ah... is there any downside to the EXP Boost Artifact? It is in fact an Artifact, and doesn't appear to me to have penalties.

It diminishes your wallet? I guess. It sounds like most of the other artifacts will be free, so the downside of X-Boosts is the cost.

@The Jop: X-boosts is just a flawed artifact. Real ones have an in-game effects and a cost is never associated as an effect.

If Tyrant Moose is Light and Shadow character, he need to be dual Light/Shadow with Light being the main element since neither shadow nor light have a energy charging cards.

Hopefully they won't cost SGs but will have high gold like 300K each or so. Making them encounterable would be preferable though.

Not every element will have energy charging cards. For Beck and Tyrant Moose, consider every Legendary characters being shop only character always cost SG, Beck and Tyrant Moose are to be expected the same as well. We never know. ;)

And Nulgath said there'd be more cards in the future...element charging ones are definite possibility.

But yeah more than likely they'll be SG :/

That'd be cool. A ton of Healing cards, and Sacrifice for attacking, some shields, and maybe a Retri for nuke.

Beck, Necrosis, and Tyrant Moose. A fun combination that would be in the 3 characters in battle system that would be. Those two I know I'll get to level 20 as soon as I get them. Tyrant Moose I see has a ton of detail added to him and that must've been the one to take majority of Nulgath's soul to animate and props to Rev on the design. The moose is a fearsome creature indeed.

Who says it'd have to give 10 energy? Could be an extra 5. But in the end, it's Nulgath's game so he shall decide.

Gains energy when attacked.

Sacrifices Hp for Energy.

OR, you charge 2 extra energy per charge, but you lose 200 hp per turn.
Eh . . ..

If it's possible to code then setting parameters to regain energy would be quite interesting. But yeah, these guys probably won't get any new cards :(.

I'd like a card that turns your enemies deff into damage against them for Chaos characters
