Knowing who the chaos lord is, I personally would have chosen a giant mockingbird named Baelish as my chaos beast but a dragon of time works too. If it is indeed a dragon of time. I wonder how ghe 13th chaos lord will summon his/her beast? The first few chaos lords required items or circumstances of power. The Runix Cube, that blade, chaos gemralds, a chaos moon or something for Wolfwing ect.

We clearly aren't the Champion of Order, since we've now been fully Chaorrupted. During World War Lore, we're going to die. Because we're the 13th Chaos Lord, all the Chaos in us is drawn to our current form. When we die and come back (since we're going to fight Death in the Underworld, as already stated in the Design Notes), the Chaos in us is completely dead, allowing us to ascend to be the Champion of Order. Thus, if we had defeated the Chaos within ourself before going to Drakath, not only would we be unable to be Chaorrupted by him but we'd have all our Champion of Order powers to fight him with, hence why we would've stood a chance if we had beat it first.

My sources for this theory? Absolutely none: Wild Mass Speculation and Chaos go hand in hand. :p

it never really refers to other players. other heroes, yes. other players, no. you gotta separate "the hero" from "your character" otherwise the whole story falls apart and makes no sense

We're obviously not going to beat him by ourselves. I'm just interested in how AE will have us do it. Death and Gravelyn will probably have big roles but I'm not sure what they'll do. I'm just hoping nothing crazy happens that doesn't make much sense. I can deal with us becoming the what we just became because it seemed like something that could actually happen. I wonder what saga will start after this one. We either defeat Drakath and he frees the MoM so she's the next saga or maybe we prevent her coming back altogether and the next saga is something entirely different.

I think it will be disappointing if Drakath doesnt free the MoM. Everybody want to see how MoM looks like and what are her plans. Also we want to see the 13 Chaos Beast.

We know that he needs the 13th Beast to release her but we have no idea what actually needs to be done once it's released. He may need to do certain things to open the portal even after all runes are lit.
What I find interesting is how the events are listed in the DN. From one of the first DN we got:
July 11th: Drakath waits for you, Hero... Will you be ready?! The answer is YES!!!!!!
Now we have this from the newer DN:
July 11: The Final Confrontation
July 25: The Last Battle
So it's going to be lame if we defeat him on the July 11th, he frees her, and then The Last Battle we defeat her.

I would be very sad if the ending was us trapping him in the gate. That has been done so many times and with the recent very predictable plot points I would like a outstanding ending to a not so outstanding saga.

@polar: As for In-Game Poster its just the 12 Chaos Lord NPC's with a Hero who you choose to look like not some silhouette of the AQW template with a question mark since the poster is in the game not outside the game

@ULITRA DESTROYER: Its more like Drakath's defeat unlocking the gate like defeating Barthandelus to unleash Orphan

The other players are the other warriors mentioned. It'd be preposterous story wise to believe that the few NPCs we know of took out the thousands of other waves of enemies the main hero (you) didn't. The main hero of the story is You, everyone else ingame are the nameless warriors that help you in wars and such. It's a fairly easy to grasp concept, and AQW has played it pretty well.

It can make you wonder about Role Playing as well as The Deaths of NPCs and if said NPC died someone might try to have revenge on The Hero

The Chronomancer (Iodoa or something) said we were Immune to Chaos if we realized our destiny. So maybe once we figure out what our Real Destiny is then maybe we turn back to normal and then we Fight Drakath.

It's rumored to be the Eternal Dragon of Time since its death created us. Perhaps that's why the Mirror Realm egg's presence and us are related. The egg is the Mirror World's Dragon of Time, and since we came from the death of our realm's Time Dragon, our existence is equal to the dragon.
