Weird. o_O LOL! Maybe they have a spiritual link. :P

But they come from different places and Ogre Maiden has to walk forward and put her staff in the ground or whatever so I guess hers is slightly longer. :P

Gorillo Titan -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 16:30:24)

weteye jumps over and swings its tail a little before shooting it out.

The Finnish Phoenix -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 16:36:43)

Plus Weteye is more gangster/spooky. [sm=icezard.gif]

Gorillo Titan -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 16:43:11)

It takes about 3 secs for the first hit and 2 seconds for the rest when you use the 5 hit with maiden.

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 18:00:10)

But Genesis' Warrior 5-hit is probably one of the best ever.
@TFP Wet-eye was the rarest character before Time Gentlemen, DFRs, and Moose for me so I consider it a more worthy achievement than Ogre Shaman. Yes Ogre Shaman, Ogre Maiden is Earth, Shaman is water.[;)]
@Gorillo If you want quick 5-hit combos than look no further than Princess Ghypsophilia. It takes about one second.
EDIT: Snow Orb is probably my favorite Ice card now.

Gorillo Titan -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 18:09:43)

@ Bj Just got a level 20 Frost queen a few days ago.

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 18:19:51)

@Gorillo Instead of getting another SG character, I'm going to SG possess every character I beat that I don't have. But that also means getting Priest of Ver to 10....[&o]But with my X-boosts its only 40 fights![8D]

Gorillo Titan -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 19:23:28)

i have everything in game besides 4 characters I think >.> all just reskins of other stuff

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 19:30:38)

@I got all except like 62 characters. Pretty good if you ask me.

Gorillo Titan -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 19:42:44)

I only use like 6 of my characters though [:)]

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 20:04:12)

@Gorillo I use roughly 25 of them because I like different strategies.

Gorillo Titan -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 20:31:25)

I prefer to see cool animations when I duel. lol

1) Catching any character is only an achievement within the week it's released after which point you're assumed to either have it or not have bothered getting it because it's terrible.
2) You're right of course, but to me Ogre Maiden and Shaman are interchangeable in that they're both obsoleted Veterans with the same look that should be used by nobody because their decks are terrible, especially Shaman because its deck is a duplicate of Weteye's terrible deck, but Weteye is slightly more tolerable in that it's more gangster and spooky.

Ice chars don't have Power Flow and rarely ever 5-hit combo anything so it's not an issue.

It's like Crushed but terrible. It's unusable against fair opponents except for finishing. [&:] Similar to FrostBite costing 6 energy when it's Electric Arc with two fewer ticks.

See, Ice was so ridiculously OP to begin with that instead of getting new and awesome cards like several other elements did, they got terrible imitation crab meat like Snow Orb, FrostBite, and Ice Needle and they still dwarf every element but Neutral.

Gorillo Titan -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 21:20:39)

I'm still waiting for an ice character with a crush cards do an Ice Golem Nulgath.

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 22:18:08)

@TFP I just really like doing a combo of some attack cards and an Snow Orb. It also uses less charges and doesn't take up all of your 2000 shields, because Ice characters like they're shields ya know?

So by this logic almost every character I have is bad? I didn't get Templar the week it was released because I didn't have the SG for it, but does that mean it's terrible?. No, that is completely untrue.

I believe that while some elements are slightly weaker than others, the best character of any element can face against the best character of any other element.

The Finnish Phoenix -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 22:39:38)

But most of your characters (and mine) are terrible, that's why only some get trained to a high level and the vast majority (at least in my case) stay below Level 5. By Templar I assume you mean Gravelyn Defender (yes Gravelyn Defender, Gravelyn Defender is Shadow, Templar is Light [;)]), which actually is pretty terrible and we're still in the week of its release anyway. Would you have caught it if you had that SG though? Maybe (I did just to get out of the Labyrinth), but it's hardly a character that demands SG-capture. Why? Because it's pretty terrible. :F No DoTs amirite?

Every element likes their shields. [&:] They also like their energy, which Snow Orb subtracts 5 of for some reason. I do agree that the elements' top characters are pretty fairly balanced right now, but Neutral's is still going to wreck all others.

This would be so amazing. We have Ice chars with Empower and Sacrifice (and used to have one with Surge for a day or so), so why not right?

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 22:53:43)

@TFP I was talking about Templar. The Light legendary that is my favorite Light character. No it doesn't matter about it being worth the SG, I want it because it has been evading me for such a long time. I believe in trying out a character to tell how good the deck is, and then determine it. It's why I have Varett at level 6, Lepid at level 6, Pikeman Merc at 10, Sword Zard at 8, Icarius at 13, and a lot of other ones. For example, I never really liked Arcane Ranger from the wiki page, never seemed that fun. But trying it out was an entirely different story, the balancing act of the attack cards and the DoTs, along with defending at the right times makes it very interesting to play as.

A Shadow character does not need DoTs to be good. But I don't feel like doing this anymore, so whatever.

The Finnish Phoenix -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 23:01:17)

Catching Templar is catching Trainee. ;_;

I suppose there could be a good Shadow char without DoT's, it's just yet to happen. You know my thoughts on Cyber Void. [8D]

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 23:13:01)

@TFP No, I said I didn't have the SG for Light Guardian, and therefore not for Templar either.

The Finnish Phoenix -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 23:14:47)

I'm confused. [&:] They both give you their base form when you catch them which is Trainee though, right? Or was Light Guardian like Headless Horseman where you could just catch its top form right away?

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 23:23:05)

@TFP Yes. I had a Trainee level 10 and along with squire once I got Light Guardian. Then I got SG, because you need SG for Light Guardian. Trained LG to 20. Waited for more SG. Got some more and now I have Templar. In this case, catching them wasn't the issue, getting SG was.

Gorillo Titan -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 23:23:56)

Fly like an eagle lol

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 23:38:01)

Got Gravel Defender with SG, will tell you what I think of it once I've leveled it a bit.

Gorillo Titan -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/2/2014 23:40:26)

It looks like a cross between a giraffe and a eagle and dragzilla XD

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 148 - Read the first post! (7/3/2014 14:49:03)

Gravel Defender is not that bad. I CC on some MoDs and some attack cards to buff up its offense and I still manage to get a pretty good defense going. It isn't as good as Cyber Void or Lich or Poison Drake but I think it's not that bad. I give it a 3.9/5 because it's right below the tier of Abomination and Vampire Lord, stuff like that.
EDIT: Kicked from the server. Hmmmmmm.....possibly the bug fix?
