Who knows indeed. All I can say is that Kit will need a new source of food soon, since the vampire population is almost gone from the forest.

Edit: To be honest though, I'm waiting to see Heinrich's reaction when he finds out she was made by a Witch-Hunting order.

@Legendium Normally, I'm not one to do this, but since I can't really think of anything in character for Maria to do right now, I have a problem with your post. I wrote in my last one that she had followed Heinrich from the inn, to his horse, and then up the tree, meaning that she would have jumped down before or during the Soren vs. Kit exchange. I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear enough in my post, but that was my intention.

I might have Sorlan follow Kits and have another shot at her. Would Heinrich stop him or help him?
I was thinking he might try but Heinrich would stop him and that would lead to him joining up with Toren if just to keep track on his target.

44 posts? Ouch, that would be a night mare to sort out. Nothing has happened to Lock so far, other than being ignored.

Also note that my last post is likely to change soon. I sent the new one to Rip, so as soon as they tell me if they can work with that, it should be up. Nothing game changing though, but I'll have to find another time to relieve Heinrich of his grudge on vampires.

I think it'd probably be best to start with the Nazha saga sooner, rather than later - I know Toren's set a place and time, but there's no reason why they can't sneak-attack us a little earlier. I worry that our inn-teractions (see what I did there?) will quite literally last forever if we let them.

Sera? Gracious enough to pay someone else's debt? That'll be the day. She'll move mountains to keep you alive in battle since she's working with you, but she's not, as she put it 'enough of a bleeding heart' to do a kindness for the sake of doing a kindness. Part of it stems from practicality, admittedly. She knows how much gold she has on her while it's on her. She doesn't know how long she needs to make said gold last. So she doesn't spend it on frivolous things like paying for someone else.

Largely, though? She's just not the type to do anything nice without good reason. And she doesn't have a good reason to pay for Kenet.
