Ok, let’s try this again. Name: Zovex (goes by The Skull Knight) Species: Magically altered weaponized human prototype Species information: The Skull Knight used to be human before being turned into the monstrous being he is today. The process to do so was created in order to give a power hungry king a more formidable soldier beyond what a normal person could do to be used in large-scale battles. As such, it was intended to make humans physically stronger as well as altering their mind to erase their empathy and make them more eager to kill. However, there were complications, especially in the mental aspect of the process. The first successful patient, who was named Zovex upon being converted, was driven mad by what they had done to him, transforming into an impulsive murderous beast who doesn't even seem to understand the concept of death. Initially, he was considered a success but was quickly deemed too hard to control and the project was scrapped.... At least, that's what was formally decided. Appearance: The Skull Knight's body is made out of a muscle-like substance that has the properties of rubber. He's almost always covered in a series of hard bone-like plates that act as a sort-of exoskeleton or armor most of the time, each section shaped like human bones and fit over the part of his body the bone would be with the exception of his arms and legs, which are fully encased in the plates past the elbow and knee. However, his head seems like the most inhuman part of his anatomy. The Skull Knight's Skull Plate has two curved horns coming out of the back of it, similar to part of a jester's hat, and features sharpened monstrous teeth with a sharpened tongue inside of his vicious mouth. Two dark eyes fill the holes of his Skull Plate, almost purely black with white pupils with a surprising amount of expression for his armored appearance. The Skull Plate twists and warps unnaturally to show his mood whenever necessary. Zovex is around 8 feet tall and weighs a considerable amount with his heavy bone-plates attached. He always wears a pair of black shorts, almost as if to signify he still has some humanity locked away deep within his twisted mind. Abilities: Fireballz- Able to form and control balls of flame with his mind. Occasionally, they form their own faces and talk, seeming to form personalities of their own. They can also explode on contact when required. Plate Control/ Possession- The Skull Knight detaches individual segments of his bone plates and makes them float and move with his mind. This allows his normal body to twist and stretch in unnatural ways, giving him a wide variety of options for dodging attacks. If the bone plates make contact with the corresponding part of a living being, they can attach to their body but remain under The Skull Knight's control. However, the bone plates can only attach onto human-like opponents. Infernal Weapon Sealing- Zovex has a highly powerful elemental scythe sealed inside of his body. While it's unclear how dangerous it would be if wielded normally, The Skull knight has managed to still put the weapon to good use. When required, he can transform part of his body into a chain attached to the scythe-blade which he can control with his mind. In extreme situations, it may be possible to form 3, 4, or even 5 separate chains and scythe-blades at the same time! Usually, he refers to this ability as the "Scorpion Stance" and, while it has no magical or elemental properties, it's among his most dangerous fighting abilities. Enhanced Strength- Pretty self-explanatory. The Skull Knight is stronger than a normal human of his size. However his strength only lasts as long as he has a plate attached to the corresponding body part. Full Power- By focusing for several minutes, The Skull Knight can access the power of the elemental scythe sealed within him and use it's magic to shift into a form capable of manipulating flames at his will! But doing so renders the experiment unable to use any other scythe-based moves and The Skull Knight's impulsive nature makes it highly difficult to access this ability. This means that The Skull Knight won't use this ability without a VERY good reason. History: Near the peak of the Sangarian empire, several experiments using dark magic were forced to take place under the orders of a power hungry king. The most drastic and radical of these was a procedure intended to warp the very minds and bodies of the subjects into superior fighters. The Skull Knight was the first person to successfully be forced through this procedure and survive and, with his new form, he was given the new name 'Zovex'. But there were complications, while The Skull Knight was made more powerful his psyche couldn't handle the strain of the event and he almost immediately went insane. At first, the King thought very little of the side effects, eagerly awaiting his newest weapon. But during his first mission, The Skull Knight proved just how unpredictable he could be. The first battle he fought in, The Skull Knight managed to escape during the chaos and ended up burning a nearby town to the ground, cackling and ranting about rocks as he murdered both allies and civilians without a second thought. While this would be troubling to most people, the King saw potential in his new weapon. A special kind of bloodlust that none of the other subjects could manage that could prove useful if redirected. After re-capturing The Skull Knight, the King gathered his most competent wizards to take an existing powerful weapon, an elemental scythe, and seal it inside of the mad experiment in an attempt to gain control over his actions. The process was difficult and painful, but, eventually, they were met with a short lived success that gave them the ability to point their creation in the right direction. However, after barely a week, The Skull Knight's mind proved more powerful than theirs and the King was met with the opposite result, instead of controlling him the wizards were themselves driven into insanity by their connection to the scythe! Afterwards, the experiment got away and years passed until finally, The Skull Knight would find himself captured again only, this time, by his own foolishness and impulsive nature. In a reckless move, The Skull Knight entered a tower said to be owned by a mysterious mage and managed to kill one of the existing monsters inside. But, somewhere between the time it took him to see if the monster's scales were edible and the time it took to turn it's wings into a sombrero, the mage had erected a new barrier around the room to keep the new specimen inside. Skull Knight had become one of the mage's newest guards and, out of all the people who entered his camber, he made sure to leave no survivors.
