Wow, you people can be really selfish! Tomix has said enough times that the only way we will get this will be if we devour Aegis, so please stop nagging for a compromise. Tbh I'm against this because it'd be a weird OOC moment for the hero, and DF isn't like other RPGs with branching paths and such, it more chronicles the hero's journey. And like someone already said, it'd take away all that is unique about Roirr. And we all know as soon as it gets implemented most of you are going to kick up a fuss about wanting classes and Aegis back. So Imma say no on this.

Also funny how it's mostly the 'Doomboys' who want this class.

Edit: Also I think Soul Smith should be left alone. It'd be nice if the hero did not have to learn and do everything. If it does have to be implemeted however it should be part of the blacksmithing job system.

@Rio: There can be no compromise. Tomix has stated already, Aegis for Fleshweaver. The hero destroys and devours one of their greatest allies, one who is bonded to us likely as close as our dragon, for a new class.

I woudnt want Aegis back . It woudnt if Roirr is permanently destroyed then the Hero would be inheriting all that is unique to Roirr by being the Only FleshWeaver. so there would be no problem. Hail FLESH!

@Shadows I don't know I'd say making the choice there is compromise enough. Heck Ash had said it would always be a choice like the Doom Knight and Calendar Classes.

I don't personally want the class. I find the idea morally and ethically reprehensible. It goes into dark arts that I refuse to practice, in spite of my love for misunderstood arts such as necromancy. But this certainly goes too far. However, I think it would be a meaningful and beneficial addition to the game, and not only that, thee's so much you could do in terms of gameplay! You could assume the identity of any human foes you face, taking on their appearance and gaining frightful new powers! Not only that, but seeing as Aegis' weapon is a shield, we could use it as a sidearm, much like DragonLord, or even as a primary weapon, much as Roirr uses Transcendence.

I see no moral problem. Or well, not one that would be worse than with Doomknight, Kathool Adept or Deathknight. It comes down to the same.

@Shadow, Im a 'Doomboy', and I am not gun-ho for Fleshweaver. I feel that sacrificing Aegis for a class is not worth it, IMO. Now, if we can test the class, and pay DC's to get SW, MSW, and Aegis back(Like Baron Dante has said), then I would have no problem with it, whatsoever.

@Lightriftwalker122, I just meant that Riorr is the only character able to possess someone. I am sure there are other Fleshweavers, but we will not know until shortly before the class releases.

@Mordred, I agree with you. Although, you are mistaken that we will be able to do possessions, as Tomix confirmed that only Riorr can do that. Also, side note. I just realized that your screen name is the same as King Arthur's last foe.. Coincidence?

you assume thats its not an ingame choice and just the entire path i highly doubt they will force you to be one seeing as even ash has said that you can choose to kill aegis or not.

Hmm, I wonder if you guys would still want this if you had to eat your dragon for it. Oh wait, it's you guys we're talking about. If you could have ultimate power by killing off Artix, Warlic, Cysero, Robina, Valencia, etc. you would take it. It's a good thing Pandora is dead because you'd want to eat her too if your willingness to dispose of Aegis is any indication.

Well, Since I'm a TimeBoy I have no problem devouring Agies. By chance if you get the class in the game it will be Swag... Just devour and boom you're a God. I already have my dragon so i don't need others? Agies is no use. He Haven't played any major(expects soulwaver class) parts in hero's life.... If we can still get Chaoswaver then I have no problem in devouring Agies Muahahahahaha [:D]..

The fool devours everything, realizing too late that they're the one being consumed by the beast inside them. Before long, they'll do anything to relieve them of their hunger. Ally? Enemy? Food needs no distinction. You can say you won't let the power corrupt you but that's what they all say. In the end, those that get a taste of evil will crave more.

The hero has a lot of Willpower and he has a vey strong sense of justice. im absoluty positive that the will not let himself be corrupted by the darkness in him.
