I get that, but no updates on his twitter saying so. He is pretty much unreachable, he only tweets OS releases.

Nulgath will do little to nothing this summer (as he hinted so, before) for OS, but I believe after that he will compensate us with more Chaos characters as well as the C. Flux rebalancing, potentially. [:)]

Bugs:
------------
#1 Infinite loading screen when switching between menus (mostly character's card menu)
#2 Infinite loading screen when trying PvP
#3 Enemy dies with HP left
#4 Elements menu shows fals stuff
#5 characters's names are inconsequent. One character = one name!
#6 retribution goes through reflect damage
#7 if a card is chose to play, but thought otherwise, it can't be thrown away in that turn
#8 clicking another player does not show correct clvl
#9 Anauel's tutorial shows waaaay outdated screens
#10 Anauel's video shows waaaay outdated screens
#11 Mark of Death deals no (visible) damage
#12 when filtering the characters by element, than leaving the menu, then re-opening it, the filter is selected, but the whole list is shown

@above you most likely don't know this but this game has no official coder so no one can even fix the bugs we have someone who puts releases in when he has time which is a 1/4 chance of happening in any given month. Nulgath pretty much confirmed the game wouldn't get much more than characters anyway in his last post.

You mean Oversoul will never get out of "beta" phase?

What about the FAQ saying:

They rushed the game. Once xboost was added a lot of free players quit and the game never had more than 2 coders so when rolith decided to leave and work on the mobile games the only person left was warlic. Rev quit soon after to work on ED. So OS only had two people working on it and a lack of players so they higher ups decided it would be the best for the company to work to hard on it after they did that for HS and it failed. Also said by several coders OS has a code completely differnet from the other games so it would take warlic having to train an entirely new coder for it to get a new one. Rolith said he wouldn't return unless they planned to make OS mobile which they wont do to the lack of players.

No one sticks around do to the lack of releases so its hard to keep people playing OS so it doesn't make any money. When it was really bad though OS averaged around 19 players a day for about 3 months.



A large portion of the community thought free players doing 606 fights vs xboost users bring it down to 200 was unfair to get a level 20.

I"ve played this game since October of the year it was released.

Rev was going to be the one who did the first section of the game the Asylum location he did over 30 unreleased character all to support the first quest.

Also they had the bug that prevented people from making new accounts for about 4 months and the fact that it still also returns from time to time.


The coders fix bugs without coders the bug can't be fixed.

Nulgath only does art and animations he can not code OS.

We also still get the ninja problem from time to time stuff is supposedly released but isn't until it magically appears in game on Monday the same day warlic returns to work.

@Hakunin: #3 bug isn't a bug, it's just that had done damage and it didn't show it on your screen, #4 isn't a bug because elemental resistance has yet to be implemented(that's what it'll be when it is released though), #6 isn't a bug, retribution is a DOT(damage over time), you'd notice if u looked under your name right b4 u get hit by it, #8 isn't really a bug, as there is no need to know other ppls lvs(also means that lv 20's can spam duels to low lvs because there is not way of telling who is and is not high/low lv'd), and last but not least the X-boosts are the only artifacts atm(yes I would like there to be more as well) but we will probably get a story b4 we get more of them so bank on story content first(as artifacts are part of said story), on another note, no one knows encounter rates(only a general easy/hard to find) so that info wouldn't be on the wiki, it's also because if you've played long enough you'd know some ppl find stuff easily and catch on the first time while others take a while to find and have to keep looking because they failed the capture attempt

You seem to try to dodge the problem: even WITH they never even considered trying to fix bugs!
And aside building up the basic functions 1 bug had to be fixed the entire time: the infinite loading screen bug.

Everything is a bug which show inproper working. While #3 might only be a visual glitch, in a lategame battle it can lead to bad decisions. Given that PvP would have been the obviously easier way to develop, it is actually an important bug.

The element-table shows something which isn't true. A big "under developement" / "later feature" sign across it sounds reasonable.

When clvl determines strength on a large scale, who I want to battle with is key problem. I'd prefer not waste time with a clvl1 vs clvl 20 fight.

About story: you won't get it, as Oversoul is a finalized project, being dead officially. Aside that though, story is not at all an issue in beta-phase. You don't need it. That's after release of the full product.

Encounter rates:
the person who adds/writes the characters DO KNOW. You have to add a goal-number to the random-generator to determine frequency. To avoid problems of characters not being coded in properly, and comparing actual empirical frequencies of characters, the wiki should contain it (remember the goblin-fiasco!)
Back than (no idea if they changed the values) I had a hugh list of empirical rarity values (it is not that hard to determine, just go to the proper location, hit the battle-button, and start counting until you find the character you're looking after, and keep tracking the numbers). Again the problem is, no less than 5 staff-member straight out lied in your face when people (ok, it was me) kept complaining goblin does not showing up after 1,000 fights (literally). And they didn't even apologise.
And "some people find stuff more easily" is not a real argument, when certain character is tested to be found 10 times in a row, and its rarity hangs around 30:1, while the other - which noone actually meets frequently, so this is not about first-capture issue - is 500:1 (I think that was the top rarity).
Lastly for this. "some are just more lucky" has nothing to do with the coding aspect. You set rarity like "roll dice between 1-100, if result is 90-100 encounter happens". So the programmer who makes the character has hard info about the rarity, and that's then number I'm interested in (for obvious reasons).

If you have so many complaints why play the game we all know the game won't ever finish why do you think its come down to us just suggest characters and bug idea fixes?

The coders fix bug we have no coders so no bugs will be fixed this game which has only had one coders since early 2013-2014.

A character causes infinite loading when encountered in the Cellar. It's final card loaded in is something called "poison 1_v2"

DragonFiend Rider Male seems not to be in the game. Noone seem to have it or eithe rseen it, and after 700+ battle in nightmare dungeon not seeing it, this seems to be true.

This is athread reminder for all the post I had to remove here. Theirs certain etiquette when it comes to people asking for clarification and those responding to it. Your be repsectful and courtesy to those asking for clarification and those offer clarification. its two way street. Not one way street. If at anytime if one party stops doing that. You need to let us know and then stop responding to them. While you guys have the let us know part down. You still have to remember to stop responding to them. By still responding to them. It makes the situation worst and takes longer for us to deal with if you inadvertainly added more to the problem. So when that happens just let it go and not repsond to them.

So lets get back to the normal posting now. Also I looked into the issue that started this mess to verify if the character can still be acquired in game or not. I was told its an "extremely rare encounter". So if you haven't found it yet its because of its appearance rate.

Get the Bunny Berserker from the Seasonal Shop and then level it to 20, where you can evolve it to that character.

You could find Treasure Chests in Dungeons since they give you more gold: http://oversoulgame.wikidot.com/treasure-chest-trap

But the fastest ways, since the chests are pretty hard to find, are to fight in Solace PvE or here: http://oversoulgame.wikidot.com/forest-edge


Edit: Hunter Berserker really needs better heals than the default heal that apprentices have. I mean it's a legendary that requires a 50k character to evolve for cripes' sake. You think anyone would change it if enough players asked?

To late to change it now and I said that during the release but it never got speed.

OS needs more character for the lacking elements like fire energy and earth. IDC if earth has strong character what am I suppose to do with a bunch of level 20s and no one to pvp with we need new characters.
