You are correct in assuming that the feedback thread, http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=22014387, is where you can submit feedback. However from what I understand, Zyrain mentions that suggestions are not to be posted there.

So... where's the best place for suggestions? If not on feeback thread, and certainly not here, maybe in the discussions? There it doesn't make sense either.

There should be a proper place for ideas and suggestions. I feel like the feedback thread was the most appropriate, considering the choices. When giving feedback about a game feature, one may always have some ideas about improving it, or even suggest alternatives.

LyRein: In the Staff Information Thread, Gjappy is said to be "Forum Liaison". Which means, if I'm correct, that he reads what we post here and informs the other devs about it. So what we write here is definitely not a waste of time.

They have been saying they're most likely going to reset characters after Alpha starts, so every is on the same playing field, but they have said we keep our names.
The only confirmed Alpha item is Alpha Knight I believe, although they've been hinting at an Alpha Pirate: https://twitter.com/DageTheEvil/status/643851937327251456

Yup! As far as I know Alpha Knight is still planned for AQ3D: LoL, AQ3D Tech Demo and AQ3D Alpha participants. However the Alpha Pirate armor is planned as a founder's package reward. The idea is that there will be multiple founder tiers and one of the higher up packages will offer the Alpha Pirate as a reward amongst other rewards.

I think the devs have a laid out plan for how to build AQ3D at the moment so they're not looking for open suggestions. Eventually when the devs want suggestions there'll most likely be an AQ3D Suggestions section added to the forums just like AQW's suggestions sub-forum. However in the end I'm just a tester so I might not have the answer to these kinds of questions, but I'm sure AE reads your posts otherwise there wouldn't be a point for having a feedback sub-forum.

Note: When I say suggestions, I mean ideas that are completely irrelevant to anything yet added to the game. An example would be someone suggesting to make a beach map and to have a Godzilla mob come out of the ocean periodically. If the suggestion is worded more as feedback, then it's probably okay. An example of that would be if someone were to be talking about the game's audio and how they like the varying music for each zone and dislike how loud the attack sound effects are, and they feel a volume slider for the attack sound effects would make the game more enjoyable.

Since Yergen was sick does that mean they plan to delay when beta is released or will they do a big release to keep on track or spread it out delaying beta but keeping the game from being "overload" with a bunch of new content at one time?

Honestly I still think the game is on track for it's approximate planned beta release date (Winter 2015), though I'm not completely certain. On that note, this next update looks like it'll be a huge bundle of various things like a revamped map, updated skills and effects, Battleon updates, sound effects and more. So until that's released it might feel like we're a little behind on content.

OK. Also will founder package work off of badges like AQW does or will the items just appear in are inventory? Also do we have to level up classes or do we just get all the skills when they come out?
Which map is getting revamped or is it just the inn?

@Gorillo Titan: They likely don't have the whole concept of the tiered Founder packages completely finalized yet, and badges are being worked on separately as part of character pages, but we may see a Book of Lore-type apparatus to house our badges and related reward shops released later, possibly during Beta. Classes will probably come maxed out for the time being to ease testing, but will become levelable later on when the necessary core functionality is added to the engine; again, they will probably save that for after Beta starts. Currently, yes, just the inn is getting revamped as far as we know. We will also be getting the inn's basement and Warlic's shop as new maps sometime soon, altho probably not all at once in the next update, but rather released bit by bit sometime before Beta. With Yergen recovering from his illness, we'll probably start seeing an uptick in content production this close to the start-of-Beta deadline, and the devs should be on-track for meeting the deadline even with these setbacks. Nothing dampens the spirits of the AE crew, because to them, "Battle On" isn't just a company slogan, it's a way of life!

I imagine that there will be wars in AQ3D eventually. For now just the base of AQ3D is being created and once that's finished we'll see stuff like events and such.

Is anyone else not able to log in, I keep on getting stuck at the loading screen when I select my server. I deleted my cache and everything.

A bug in-game caused the server to crash which in turn required the server to be restarted. The server should be back up now though! :)

Getting an "Invalid API Response" on login attempt. Anyone else ?

Edit: now getting another loading failure message starting with "CRC Mismatch. Provided blablabla, calculated blablabla from downloaded data. Will not load asset bundle. URL: blablablabla"

This is sort of a stupid question, but for the Books in the Trees quest from Greenguardnorth - how do you hit the trees? I tried all attacks, clicks and keys, but nothing seems to happen.

IIRC, I got close to the trees until they got yellow and clicked on them. Worked for me.

Every time I try to log-in on IE, I can get to the character, server list, but when I enter the server, before it's loaded, it crashes.
I used to use Chrome, but now it doesn't allow unity, I try to use IE & it doesn't work. Any work around for me?

Don't want to use another browser.

It works nicely enough for me with Firefox or Safari, so your problem might be with IE... have you tried using either of them?

Very odd, I'll look into recreating it so I can find a fix for it. At the moment though I'm able to play on IE without issue. Have you been able to use IE to play successfully in the past?
