Players Nerfed. Why didn't they nerf NPC? Especially those legendary NPCs. Please Nerf those.

Well, if they don't have too much time they could just nerf the Legendary NPCs for now. They don't affect the game(that is if you're talking about the NPC effect in jugg n 2v2)

it's easy fix lower legendary supports damage of all types by 10 and critical chance by (TBD) % lower health of them all by 2000 and energy by 4000 - 5000 or 2000 same as hp. specially titan and dage cause higher ranks needed and ranks been nerfed so a player will take 20 more P and E damage and if they use npcs/crusher armor so will do less damage by 10 and take more 10 damage which will increase their blood lust gain that means more rounds more boring battle more chances to lose connection.
unless someone tried them and were easy and can prove otherwise.

Legendary NPCs were meant to never be beaten so I doubt they will be nerfed. That's the reason why they made Rev such a useless partner way back when and only kept scaling up from there

Players were asking for late game challenges so the developers set out to create unwinnable fights. Remember lionhart was released with Titan only being able to beat him once and Mecha refusing to share how he could beat it.

If stuns are nerfed, L-NPCs will be nerfed. The best nerf is the one I suggested in the balance thread which says that you can only stun once per a battle.

Make their health lower. Their health is ridiculously high. It should be at 10k or even lower than that. Period

No because then we would have the very same issue that happened when we had a group of players beat the original GOW only for him to get nerfed to and made easier. In other words the high cry of foul would be high by all the players who beat the legendary bosses pre nerf and rightfully so.

It is people's decision how they spend their time (spending 3 hours on a boss for 3500 rating points). Even if it is not fair, the devs have to do something about it. They didn't care when they removed enchancements, nerfed legendary ranks, made varium almost worthless, ruined the credit currency by implementing the gifting system (which made varium even more worthless). Did they care? No they didn't. They just did it, so they can put low health to legendary bosses as well.

The whole concept of legendary bosses is a joke CONSIDERING THE FACT that they can not be beaten by MERCENARIES, BOUNTY HUNTERS and CYBER HUNTERS, which is just plain stupid. Every class SHOULD BE ABLE to beat a boss - that is called balance. Am I really forced to spend 100 000 credits (changing my class to a new class then changing back to the old class) just to waste 3 hours on a boss (not to mention I can end up losing due to bad luck or bad connection)? Sorry I am not spending.

It is like you said it is a choice of the players as well, and if they know that is how long it will take to beat said boss and the risks that come with it then as you pointed out that is "their choice." No one is forcing them to do said options, and it certainly isn't mandatory to beat them. They are only for bragging rights. You spend your credits because you want to do so to deal with said requirement.

Legendary bosses are supposed to harder because they are suppose to be a challenge. Just like how Admin 10 and Exile leader were when they first came out to be hard by the passive system. However these two became a joke when actives came along.

Also if the developers didn't care about enhancement removal they wouldn't have given the 30% compensation (you can say it is a joke however, by the TOS they didn't have to give any of us squat so it is obvious they did care) And as for ranks they did that because the low ranks (which outnumber this higher ranks) complained about how unfair they were for months and the developers did something to appease them.

Now for legendary bosses. Why do they have such high health? Because they are supposed to be a hard challenge that only the best of the best can defeat. Nerfing their health completely defeats the purpose of doing this.

While I am all for giving them a nerf, (due to them getting indirectly buffed slightly due to the nerfing of NPC ranks) a nerf like this is overly drastic and doesn't fit the bill of reasonable for those of us who spent our time beating them pre-nerf.

Can confirm and support OWA's reply. Legendary NPC's are meant to be this hard.

Its not a mistake or oversight on our end. And there are no plans for a nerf.

^ yep they are defeatable without RNG based on personal experience. but idk if still the same case with the new game meta.

nerf anything is not a good solution imo, just buff the npc crusher and armor leg ranks seems fine.

From what Charfade mentioned it seems like they did this on purpose to indirectly buff all NPC's including the legendary bosses. Though from what the DN mentioned they are going do something about both Underdog and Ranks so they might buff those ranks or change them into something else.

@Everyone. This nerf request is not out of the blue kinda thing. It's only because the players were nerfed. So it's only logical and fair to nerf the NPCs as well. It's that sensible and simple. Not asking for a huge nerf, just enough to balance with the recent player nerf. That is all.

And people who still don't agree, please give another try to those legendary NPCs.

Due to the recent balance changes (ie. player nerfs), I'm all for adjusting the difficulty of legendary bosses from impossible/nearly impossible to slightly less impossible.

I'd say it would be worth at least doing a quick balance pass on them.
Players don't truly want literally unbeatable things, however things that require a super-specific strategy is fine.
They want things that feel unbeatable but aren't.

I currently do not know whether they are or are not able to be defeated with the perfect strategy, however, I do not think anybody truly means for them to never be beaten.
If they are meant to be literally undefeatable, then you want to reward players for how close they get, otherwise it is a complete waste of time for the player.

I'm not claiming that the system currently works either of these ways, because I have not tried the current iteration of legendary NPCs, just some general design guidelines.

^I doubt currently anybody can... certainly not a legendary player below rank 100.

^ what u didn't know @Soul is that u can use now 27 support not 37 since max parasite requires 27 on max now not 37 so u can take benefits of the extra 10 points to dex and use + 6 dex booster

Forfait almost beat Matrix at level 34. So, I don't think that it's impossible to defeat Dage as a rank 100 for example.. I don't think they need a nerf. The harder they are, the better you feel when you defeat them. Trust me, It's really not cool to defeat an NPC that almost everyone defeated it.
