Dekoras -> Werepyre Damage (11/30/2019 21:24:17)

So after reading a little more closely on the armor specs, it looks like when using the boost in werepyre form, melee and magic weapons deal the same amount of damage. Since I'm a hybrid, I was wondering if it's worth it to switch my inventory to magic weapons if I'm mostly sticking to the werepyre armors?

Additionally, will it be more damage one way or another if I'm attacking with double Poelala + magic weapon vs. double Dunamis + melee weapon?

The Hybrid stats from Werepyre adds +1/3 damage to Magic weapons to make it the same as Melee weapons, since Poelala's boost takes into account the fact that Magic weapons are 75% of Melee by modifying its boost to 4/3, using Magic weapons with Werepyre and Poelala would make it stronger than using Melee with Dunamis.

That's not exactly true. According to this update, anything that doubles stat damage makes all boosters give the same bonus. Poe and Dunamis should be the same in werepyre armors.

Of course, that does not take into account miscs and weapons like Bloodzerker swords that give increased bonus to magical weapon attacks, so if you're using them, magic would be a little stronger.

From my own testing, it looks like the damage is the exact same but I wanted to be sure. If only I had known that before committing to getting double Dunamis... [:(]
