Does anyone have an idea what the data corrupted buttons might be? When did they show up? are they going to unlock at the non-lock checkpoints?

They might as well be the 50% cutscene and the (very hopeful it is) Catapults. We're 20.000 waves from 50%, so nearly there!

@scifijimmy Fair question. They showed up when Verly did his patch not long ago. I assume they are linked to the 60% and 85% thresholds. What they could be is anyone's guess; minibosses, cutscenes, or a change in the waves themselves? Speaking of thresholds, nearly there people! Less than 20000 waves to go to 50%! ninja'd!

Whoooo, 50%! New lock, let's go! @Gucci - 1001 is what the original "counterbreak" is, where the game stopped counting your waves on the war screen. A few wars back Verly bumped that up to 10,001 - but most people still call 1,001 the original counterbreak because few people are that insane coughBaronDantecough. Not sure what the average waves during a war is, but every wave counts!

oh wow, there are some players that can manage beyond 1000 waves... it's quite possible I guess to reach that given with the right gear and maybe achieved with this war because of the quarantine I just played the 2nd lock, and it's manageable but you'll require a few retries in the "puzzle"

Ooooh, this is one of my favorite puzzles/minigames :D With... a few twists. spoiler: OOF if you're not paying attention, those broken tiles can doom your run entirely. Also, uh. I recommend returning to the floor before starting the puzzle unless you want to stand on your head to read the instructions, whoops!

Man I love this puzzle. I did not know what to expect after the first one, but this did not disappoint. Lots of people have done way more than 1000. Personally, all but 25 of my 1105 waves were done in the span of 12 hours, so... yeah. spoiler: Also I love that we have the Fear element weapon that we so much desire from the hidden room :P
