Other than the Devourer Saga Update, this is probably the biggest surprise AQ has had in a while. I never expected the Bosses to come back permanently. Rewards or not, this will be fun.

Umbral Godmother is probably a dark variant of Fairy Godmother like Frosty Godmother was an ice variant. The return of Pyromancer Bloodmage is very welcome news, though this will probably bring the return of comments that mages are being catered to. I personally can't wait to get Gemini Shield and Fruitcake Zard for my ranger.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again, the AQ staff earn every penny they get. AE may be a lot bigger than when I first started, nearly 17 years ago, but they STILL bring fun new stuff for us. THANK YOU

All of these void takeover bosses becoming permanent is most certainly great to hear. I would like (at another time) if these bosses could have a challenge mode added, since whatever difficulty they had in the past are long gone now. Having this option would still allow those who enjoys a easy fight like Alpha WereDragon to remain intact without forcing said players to gear up decently well for every single void fight, while giving types like me an actual challenge to look forward to. I knew that the Pyromancer Bloodmage was coming back when Hollow said last year that the Blood Mancer/Zerker weapons was known to go rare, before that particular issue was dealt with in the best way possible, but didn't say anything like that about the armors. Now we wait to see where the staff is going to put the Pyromancer's Bloodblade in the game when Caecus comes around, considering that it (currently) doesn't exist.

i'd love to see the 2 versions of the mothers love painting return. plus this is great i can play more often now after this returning boss will the other takeover happen in order of when they were introduced?

Who's the guardian lady between the Woolzard and Rhubzard? I can't remember her name :( Also, I'm excited for this but would it be possible for those who got the items on the original Takeovers to have them tagged as "legendary" or 'like "original"? I thought some items were considered rare after thsoe monsters left (staring at Pyromancer)? Also, is it going to be only 1 per week? Can we have an option of 1 different on on Adventurer server and another on Guardian Server? Might make it a bit more useful if say, we accidentally miss the week of Void Takeover for an item. What do y'all think?

I remember this being mentioned to be in May some time around new years? It was an offhand comment in an unrelated thread. I was nervous when it wasn't listed in the "what's planned for AQ" post but pleasantly surprised that it's here! Papa is gonna get himself some items! Also, the Guardian's name is Thoralune! She returned in the 50% cutscene for the current war - being pleasantly surprised you remembered her (as was I). Edit: Someone else commented that it was Mia. I was wrong about her, someone had just commented asking about Thoralune and since the old picture link for her (Thoralune) is dead I thought it was her. It is Gracie, she and Mia do indeed share the same art with Gracie being blonder and having a pink outfit instead of grey and gold. Can make it easy to confuse them.

That's the reason it stopped giving EXP/Gold. Considering Hollows wording, there has probably been more bugs than that.

Can't wait to see the new and inventive ways people annihilate me in game [:D] I frequently do mirror matches against my younger self and it's been wild to see just how much my character has grown in these past few years and what has stayed the same through the journey. Caecus is still eschewing mundane weapons and physical combat in favor of tomes, familiars, and conjured artifacts with mystic effects. Role playing wise he now leans more heavily into the blood magics which I think fits with the progression of his disease. I only wish there was a Lvl 150 version of the Nightmare Wyvern Rider; other than the bloodmages it's my favorite armor as it is so thematic and its looks are just top notch! I'm also really looking forward to the chance to pick up some missed gear from earlier takeovers. The main reason I have an estate (other than to help out in wars) is to battle my own "hall of champions" so it will be nice to add the ones I've missed.

Gracie is my youngest daughter. She actually drew the background and the Cabbit, then I animated it all. Kids in her class thought it was pretty neat. Right, the bugs were unrelated to The Void update. One bug had the Awe quest eating player's Awe!!! upgrades, so Imr really had to make it a priority. The difficulty with the Void Rotation is setting up the automation and Imr did a great job! Every week @ 2 on Thursday a different boss will be available. We can also move a specific boss into rotation for holidays, like Starslayer with May the 4th. This is the rotation order: Smittens Chaos Knight Nulgath Death Flair Four Eyed Freak Tooty Fruitcake Zard Keyote Starslayer Gemini Twins Caecus Sea Titan Shinyaro Mogdin Rhubzard Were Dragon Alpha Void Dragon Queen Woolzard New bosses will be available for 1 week and then added to the end of the rotation. Let's say you were waiting for Nulgath's week and we add a new boss. After 1 week the new boss leaves and Nulgath will be the next boss. So you won't miss a boss when we add any new bosses later. Since we moved Starslayer to this week, next week will be Smittens.

Okay, how does Starslayer's element work? Sometimes he does Energy, sometimes he does Darkness. And it's not completely random like Shadows. How do I defend against this?

^ The boss. He does Energy one turn, Darkness the next. Or sometimes two turns of energy, one turn of Darkness.
