They're live! Info subs are out. Just my thoughts on the new items: Common:- Havarti Blade: Interesting Light Magic (CHA) weapon. Deals 27% less damage but also has a chance to give your Pets and Guests Celerity which could make up for the damage loss. Fun little toy for beastmages I guess but not too gouda compared to other options like Fresh Asteraceae which deals -20% damage but +15% Pet and Guest damage which doesn't require a save AND extra turn cost for the guest (and maybe pet if it has like a HP/SP cost).
Rare:- Yarek's Staff: Fire Magic staff with lots of different leans and options between +5% damage or +4.25 BTH. Better options are available but does give you options to suit your battle better like if you're battling a monster with low defense or like the Roc. Wish you could see the different forms of the weapon on the shop preview.
- Werepyre Slayer: Simple Darkness and Earth Secondary armor. Meant for battling creatures of the night for sure. It would go great with the Darkovian Bulwark. It will excel against Dracopyres and Werepyres though for a whopping +15% damage that doesn't come at the cost of extra damage taken or a HP cost. I will say that maybe some of the damage boost could have gotten into a status resistance against Creatures of the Night which would make this armor stand out a bit more, heck even add a SP cost to it. It would def up the usefulness of this armor a lot if that were the case. Maybe next time, a Werepyre Helm misc can be created just for that, a damage reduction and status protection vs. creatures of the night :o
- Dark Jarnskjoldr: Darkness version of the Asgardian Shield. Best thing is that it has a built in skill for Daze and a bonus with the weapon. Downside to the skill is that the Daze factors in the monster's Darkness resistance which will likely be low due to you using a Darkness shield vs. them (shhh go away PCO users).
- Call Female Shinobi: Wind guest with increased attack and Parry mode for -18 bth. Cool for defensive builds. Any chance there will be a summon version of it?
- Legion Overlord Blade: Not surprised it's a parry pet. Haven't seen it in AQ but AQW has a pretty great art of it. Very sinister. >:D
Ultra-Rare: Oh boy, all the good stuff is here as usual- LightCaster: Oh boy, -25% damage for a chance at Spirit Rend? And monster resists with CHA/LUK, a major save that most monsters have 0 invested in. This will be fun. Only thing is that there are so many good Light weapon alternatives. However, this one switches with MRM and synergizes really well with Darkness armors with skills. Does anyone know if you can use this weapon with Fiend of Light's skill for a stacked chance of Spirit Rend? Because that would be pretty sweet.
- Dark Asgardian Weapons: Just Darkness versions of the Asgardian weapons (which btw recently did get updated to have a paralysis because a MC on no proc club & 100-proc weapon didn't add up, thank you so much IMR :D :D :D). Not too many things that synergize with a Darkness paralysis that you can use off the top of my head. It looks cool but don't really think it's worth an UR. @Staff: If this isn't planned already, could you have an option to swap between the 2 weapons via the Inventory Upgrader in the future? I'm sure people would love to have that option at least.
- Dorky Derpmachine: I don't really follow the reasoning of why it exactly clears statuses but hey, at least it's an option. Not too useful for most of the mobs but something tells me that in the future, we will be seeing more status inflicting mobs so could be useful for that. Also has +25% damage for 2 turns which I assume does stack per cast so could go really well with Hydromancer/Hydrozerker.
- Baby Eternal Dragon of Time: Of course this is an UR but I think it will be worth it. Paralysis and Choke are great tools and does work well for a defensive Beast build. They also have different saves for the Monster so you could use that to your advantage between different mobs. Worth an UR? For the cute art, absolutely yes.
- Lust: Ok wow, another double effect pet. Heal modification attack is limited in use but I guess exactly what you want if you absolutely hate the Legendary Warrior with a burning passion when clearing your estate. Might be useful for the Essence of Wind Dragon? And the second attack boosting LS rate for Fire attacks by +40% is insane especially with misc/Poca de Gracia/Strawberry Shortcake shield (LUK boost PLUS CHA boost). Throw in a Ramsey guest and you're all set for massive Fire power. I will say though, I'm surprised this wasn't a Backlash guest.
- Necomancer Deadly Empress Doll: Seems interesting but I guess I'll wait to see the damage from others before commenting further.
All in all, interesting set of items. Thank you staff!
