Keyboard Controls
Access Point: Player's keyboard
Requirements: Keyboard Controls enabled via the Options Interface
Release Date: September 17th, 2021
Login Screen Controls
Enter - logs player into their account and transfers player to the character selection screen.
Character Selection Screen Controls
Enter - after selecting a character with the cursor, allows player to play as that character.
Game Interface Controls
I - opens or closes the Inventory.
H - opens or closes the Dragon Amulet Interface.
J - opens or closes the Book of Lore.
Esc - opens or closes the Options Interface, as well as closes a variety of other interfaces.
; - opens or closes the Game Log.
' - toggles the Game Log between system logs and battle logs.
Movement Controls
W OR Up Arrow - moves the player's character up.
A OR Left Arrow - moves the player's character left.
S OR Down Arrow - moves the player's character down.
D OR Right Arrow - moves the player's character right.
Battle Controls

Space - mapped to player's 'Attack!' button.
Z, X, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, C, V - mapped to player's 14 skills (from left to right).
R - mapped to player's weapon special skill (if the player has one).
T - mapped to player's trinket skill (if the player has one).
N - mapped to use an HP potion (if the player has one).
M - mapped to use an MP potion (if the player has one)
Left Arrow - targets the previous foe in a multi battle.
Right Arrow - targets the next foe in a multi battle.
Tab - cycles through foes to target in a multi battle.
F1 - opens player's information panel.
F2 - opens Guest A's information panel.
F3 - opens Guest B's information panel.
F4 - opens target's information panel.
Space - continues upon completion of a battle.
Quest Completion Controls
Space OR Enter - closes quest's completion; accept quest's reward.
Esc - passes the quest's reward without a confirmation pop up.
Confirmation Pop Up Controls
Space OR Enter - accept confirmation pop ups.
Esc - decline confirmation pop ups.
Graphics Quality Controls
[ OR ] - decrease or increase game's graphics quality.
Other information
Also known as Hotkeys; more information can be found in the September 17th, 2021 Design Notes.
Certain locations and quests where movement and other actions are not intended will not allow the use of keyboard controls.
Keyboard Controls have been a long requested feature; they were first teased by Rolith in the October 5th, 2009 Design Notes, but were ultimately abandoned due to various issues.
Target swapping and information panel keyboard controls were announced by Verlyrus on September 27th, 2021; an additional Tab keyboard control was added on October 1st, 2021.
Game Log keyboard controls were added alongside the feature on October 8th, 2021.
Quest Completion keyboard controls were added on December 10th, 2022.
Confirmation Pop Up keyboard controls were added on December 17th, 2022.
Weapon special and trinket keyboard controls were added or modified on September 8th, 2023; keyboard diagram was updated to reflect those changes on September 15th, 2023.
Graphics quality keyboard controls were added on December 8th, 2023.
