Alright so I just finished playing through everything. Story Honestly very meh, it's nowhere near as exciting as the 10th Anniversary storyline. A little disappointing tbh. I do like the thank you note at the end as well as the look-back from Robina (but I wished there were some graphics to portray the bosses mentioned by her to invoke more nostalgia rather than just text). Also, having Beleen pop up is just...weird, I'm not sure if she had a hand in writing this release but from what I remember, she doesn't even exist in AQ? Have we ever seen her in AQ before? Regular Mobs Generally quite fun to fight. Medium-sized HP but decently high resistances. My gripe here is the lack of variety and the sheer quantity. Consider cutting back how many mobs we need to get through to reach the end, especially since most of them are repeated, it can get stale quite fast Bosses Interesting mechanics and not too tough. Very good balance between slightly challenging and fun. My favorite part was the more generous damage cap. Players like seeing big numbers. The bosses have more HP to compensate which I am 100% ok with. I hope future bosses will be like this Quest Items 1. Shield - Very good for both art and effect, no complaints 2. Weapon - Where do I even start...The effect just seems so good on paper, a Void burn? Sign me up! Unfortunately, that's far from reality. The weapon is probably bugged currently to not be able to switch between all damage types (despite what the description says). The chance of proccing the burn is also what? 5%? That is hilariously low, I would honestly just use PWD on BoA if I wanted to gamble for a good special. Even if you get the burn, it lasts 1 turn and only does 100+ damage? That is so weak for an effect that is so rare. Also worth noting that I think it's bugged to keep proccing after the first proc. Despite this bug, it's still pretty bad lol. Either the burn damage/power/duration has to be greatly increased or the proc rate has to be increased. The art however is very nice, I just wished the blade was a little longer. It's a very odd size, not short enough to be a dagger but looks too short to be an actual sword 3. Armor - The art is just wow...easy 11/10. I know quite a few people aren't a fan of the armor in its current form but personally I like it very much. The 1st skill is great for warriors, it's spammable and does good damage. I view the Choke as the cherry on top, a bonus if you will, rather than being the main point of the skill. It lasts 3 turns but it's not a particularly strong Choke. Maybe cut it to 2 turns and increase the power of the Choke? I know there's supposed to be a MP variant of the second skill (a spell basically) and I hope that gets fixed soon. I like that it's a overcharged skill since it fits the Mage playstyle of bursting. I think once the MP version gets added it should no longer matter that much even if the skills/spells dont follow weapon type (I've seen some asking for this, I'm supportive of the idea too as long as some penalty doesn't get added elsewhere). It's meant to be a jack-of-all-trades armor that can be used by every build. Of course, the downside here would be that it wouldn't be the best for any build because of how versatile it is and I think it's fine. Overall, I'm quite pleased with how the armor turned out LTS Items Oh boy, a bunch of cloned items, not very exciting if I'm being honest. May I also add that these items are mediocre at best (I don't play Bleed, maybe that's bias idk) Why does the Shield cost tokens? END drive isn't even that great. The amount of useful items that uses END for rolls are so little. I only see the Shield being useful if you need that slight burst of HP if you think your healing spell or potion won't be enough to tank the next nuke. I would pick it up if it were Gold but tokens, I don't think it's worth The Emerald Golem had such good potential. A permanent increase in Wind resist? That's great! But why is it limited by the monster's Earth resist? Another case of good idea but poor execution. I rather it have a standard cap like 150% The Rhino Pet and other Miscs feels very meh to me, not a fan
