Thank you all for being so patient! Due to the number of interesting and thorough suggestions, it took us much longer to analyze them and make some decisions than we had planned. I want to thank our community for taking the time to write up so many great suggestions this year (some ideas you may see repurposed in a future release). You folks made narrowing down the choices to 3 difficult!
It became clear early into the process that most proposed sets would have to change significantly during development. While implementing sets exactly as suggested wasn't a stipulation in the first place, it wouldn't be fair to ask players to vote on a choice without any context.
A set may have to differ from its proposal based on a variety of reasons. Balance concerns, mechanical complexity, whether a mechanic is being changed or subject to change, and sometimes more unexpected feasibility issues (ie. a given effect involving old code that would require lengthy fixes/reworks). We've unfortunately had to exclude some otherwise very cool ideas because of old and cursed code. Others were more feasible, but may have to change significantly to avoid needing a complete rework when a future system change impacts them.
We understand this can be frustrating. It's a major information backlog that will take time to address, and we decided to err on the side of delaying the poll rather than expecting voting players to keep up with which mechanics are outdated or difficult to rework.
The Warwolf Prime Set suggestion poll is now live! Due to technical issues, we've added all dev notes to the original contest post, which includes links to your three options. We're still finalizing the community set suggestion list and will post that poll once we have concise notes ready to share.
