PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THREAD BEFORE REPLYING Hello! This thread is a request for player input for quest reward design. Specifically, I could use some help touching base on sought-after mechanics on rare items, in both the general and AQ sense of the word. Is there a very specific thing an item does that you have never seen again throughout the years, especially if the item is unavailable? Not quite the full mechanic of a complex item, but one specific detail that nothing else has? Please post it here! While not everything can be back, I'll try to find a place for everything that can! Please try to make sure that the mechanic isn't simply deprecated because it has been replaced by a more updated status effect. Please check that the exact mechanic hasn't already been posted by another user. It's okay to suggest a mechanic that needs minor fixes or is on old standards. The complexity of the necessary changes will affect how likely we are to pick the suggestion for a new item. This is not a balance discussion thread. Please understand that the need to bring any cloned old items to modern standards is a functional requirement and not an optional desire of the team, and that this thread is here to request items rather than discuss whether or not they're balanced. For more on the definitions of balance at play in AQ design, please review this thread. This is not a thread for requests to reverse changes to items, undo balance decisions, clone items in a roundabout way by piecing together rare mechanics, or bring back specific GGBs. If you can find a pedia or info submission for the item, please include a link. For organization reasons, if you'd like to have general discussions about the mechanics in the thread, please do so in GD rather than in the thread itself. Please keep suggestions to a single reply per user and use the following template for each item. Template:
Item:
Item location:
Specific Mechanic: (Example: Shield compresses a pet)
