Dialogue <Character>: Watch out! Scene opens as multiple new Bloodwrought monsters converge near you, your dragon, Fae and the unconscious Guardian Dragon. Battle! - begins battle with 3 [link=]Bloodwrought Devourer[/link] and 3 [link=]Bloodwrought Scavenger[/link]. Heal - fully replenishes HP, MP, and potions. Run Away! - launches Leave Quest confirmation box; clicking 'Yes' will teleport player to Falconreach (Books 3 and 4). After defeating those monsters, you ask Fae of what happened to the Guardian Dragon as you determine if there are more of the Bloodwrought monsters. <Character>: I'm not sure that's the last of them. I saw a lot of movement far away, but now it's too dark to tell. Not good... How is he doing? Fae: He's breathing! I-I can't wake him up, his skin has gone cold and... brittle? Something feels very wrong about it... Fae: Come on, mister Guardian Dragon...! <Dragon>: Get up and fly, old guy! They're gonna eat you if you don't wake up! \| *Insistent slapping and pleading roars* <Character>: Those monsters are going to keep coming to finish the job. And if whatever took him down in the first place is still out there... The Guardian Dragon awakes as he tells you, your dragon, and Fae to... Guardian Dragon: R...un... Fae: No way! You have to get up! <Character>: I'm not leaving you to get eaten by those carrion plant freaks, so save your breath! <Character>: Can you get up? The Guardian Dragon starts to be unconscious again. Guardian Dragon: Nng... The Guardian Dragon transforms to his human form as he becomes unconscious again. Fae: He's out cold again... Fae tries to carry the Guardian Dragon, however, it proves to be heavy for her. Fae: ...And still kinda heavy... <Character>: I'll help. Let's get him on the cart and get out of here quickly. Can you find us somewhere to hide, Fae? Fae: I know some spots, but... Fae: Not good enough for this... Fae: We have to find them in the dark, with a horde on his trail, trying to search quietly but also making noise with the cart, a-and then if they find us... Fae: ...I can't fight through the night. I'm sorry. <Character>: Hmm... You assess your options until you decide to let Fae go to Willowshire. <Character>: Can you get to Willowshire from here? Fae: ...Just me? Fae: I can find a path, but what about you? <Character>: I'll pull the cart myself and defend him if anything shows up. <Dragon> can alert me if anything comes for us. Fae: That's... ! I can recover from all that running, but I just made you follow me around on an adventure all day! Fae: Is it really alright to leave you behind like that?! You'll draw attention when you look for my markers, and-- <Character>: Fae. You're the best one for the job. I believe in you, so if you can believe in us, we'll be fine. Fae: O-okay. I'll do my best. <Character>: Good. Ready to take the lead? Fae: No, but let's go! You are now in the Deadlands; you fight various monsters as you put the Guardian Dragon in a cart during your relocation to Willowshire. <Character>: I've never seen anything like those... We need to get away as soon as we can! <Character>: He's not looking too good back there... Is this the shortcut Fae went through? Guardian: There they are! Let them through! Come on through, <Character>, Fae is already here! Eventually, you and your dragon regroup with Fae and Guardian Fortuna in Willowshire's Guardian Tower; your dragon looks at the unconscious Guardian Dragon in his bed. Fae: COUGH Ow... A-Atchoo! <Character>: Thank you so much for the save. Guardian Fortuna: Thank this young lady. She did a number on herself to get here. Guardian Fortuna: She said she couldn't just get you here, and had to make sure we were ready too. <Character>: You pushed yourself so hard... Can we help somehow? Fae: I'll be alright-- Fae: ATCHOOOO! COUGH COUGH Fae's arm moves upward after she sneezes from exhaustion. Fae: Can't talk. Need a bit. Guardian Fortuna: Now, you all clearly need to recover, and we'll gladly protect you while you do, but I need to ask... Scene shifts to focus on the unconscious Guardian Dragon. Guardian Fortuna: What on Lore is going on?! Scene cuts to black. Complete Quest Loot for DCs - opens RB Loot for DCs shop. Next Up: ???
