i was bord out of my mind so i made this small tut. i got the idea from Kaku and is Mosaic tutorial so i desided to create a GIMP version of his tutorial. well, here ya go!
NOTE: the signature i used wasnt meant for an effect like this. if you wanna use this tutorial, i would suggest useing a lighter signature. also click HERE for the link to Kaku's Photoshop version of this tutorial.

All my Grunge brushes started making dots instead of what they are suppose to do. How can I fix this?

This was made using my Grunge Brushes: [image]http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/4279/grungemistake8or.png[/image]

In your tutorial it said "Now, to finalize everything, set the layer you Pixelized & Sharpened Optimancy tp 40.0 to 50.0". How do we do that?

look on the 9th page. i posted something that shows the main GIMP window. can you see that drop down menue? well, right below the top of the drop menue theres something called optimancy on the left side. If the drop menue wasnt coving it you would see one of those things that scroll side to side. thats the optimancy bar.

Lightin: try now i emptyed somethings.

.Heads -> RE: NT2/Daykeem2's Gimp help Thread II (1/1/2006 1:02:07)

You seem to be good at gimp, and metal said something about making a border like TVO's(below) by polygonal lasso tool and draw shapes, fill it with grey, and put a bevel on it. But I don't know how to do it properly. Could you shine some light on my predicament?

daykeem2 -> RE: NT2/Daykeem2's Gimp help Thread II (1/1/2006 19:26:27)

Yes i know exactly what your talking about but that requires me to write out a whole tutorial. Below is a link to the same thing your talking about call "Tech Borders" or something like that. I t should help you out for the most part. [:)]

This can run to 30 pages daykeem2, its just sig shops that get locked at 10 pages, so you can keep this going if you like.
