This was deleted during the purge, so I decided to start it up again.

*NOTE* This IS a BACKGROUND tutorial, not a full sig tutorial.

Vampaneze Lord II -> RE: Fiery Background Tut for GIMP (3/8/2006 13:54:17)

which brush is that? is it for GIMP?

_Depression -> RE: Fiery Background Tut for GIMP (3/8/2006 18:33:47)

yes, it's for GIMP. I'll see if I can find the link to the brushes...

_Depression -> RE: Fiery Background Tut for GIMP (3/9/2006 21:00:54)

I'd like to see results, if you have 'em.

.Heads -> RE: Fiery Background Tut for GIMP (3/9/2006 21:03:21)

Errr... blurry?

_Depression -> RE: Fiery Background Tut for GIMP (3/9/2006 21:04:30)

Leon fayte -> RE: Fiery Background Tut for GIMP (3/9/2006 21:05:43)

umm no offence, but i just searched flames on google and found cool flames and saved them to patterns, then opened gimp and selected it as pattern, after that i opened new image and pressed ctrl+;

_Depression -> RE: Fiery Background Tut for GIMP (3/9/2006 21:06:07)

Oh. I'll cut it in half and re-upload it then...

Teh Shadow -> RE: Fiery Background Tut for GIMP (3/31/2006 22:41:31)

Heh I messed up at the VERY end of the tut lol

_Depression -> RE: Fiery Background Tut for GIMP (4/1/2006 19:17:44)

still looks nice. And remember, this tut is NOT a strict tut. You can, for iinstance, change how and if you blur, what color you make it, and whether or not you do anything else to it.

go to Layers>Color to Alpha. It doesn't matter what it means, but you need to do at LEAST that part.
