Moglo-Habilis nerf attack nerfs the monster stats by 8 (Guardian version)
BUT it BUFFS the monster elemental resistance by 5% (Guradian version)

EDIT:
The elemental buffing isn't fixed 5%... I try to figure out the correct number.

EDIT2:
Arrrggg.... The nerf/buff attack looks like using a RANDOM %... (for now the nerf was 11%, the buff was 10%. Before this the nerf was 4%, the buff was 4%)

Also, the Training Difficult is 80 for the Guardian Version.
So:
With 0 CHA: 26%
With 80 CHA: 66%
With 100 CHA: 100%

Ocoma -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/1/2007 20:48:37)

About the Moglo Habilis (Guardian version):

It has two attacks.

One attack being the 'nerfing' attack. It does one hit of melee light damage that decreases emeny's stats by a flat 10 across the board and decreases elemental modifiers by 8% of what they currently are. (E.g.: 100% --> 92%.)
The other attack is a simple three-hit attack whereas every hit does magic light damage.

Damage ranges unknown.

Master Dag -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/1/2007 21:08:26)

The nerfs seem to be capped for both Moglo Habilis and Nerfkitten.
Like for an example, Moglo nerfs 3 times, nerfkitten can only nerf once.

Are you sure it's not increase? Cos that would make the monster stronger.

TwilightDan -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/1/2007 21:19:21)

It is definitely decrease
Theres been many complaints about it

Eh? What? I think you got that switched. The Nerfkitten can nerf more than once. I own one. I don't own the Moglohabilis, though, but I think you meant that the Moglohabilis is the one that can only nerf once.

The Almighty -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/2/2007 0:07:21)

Links- I think he means that there is a pool of 4 nerf attacks- from that pool the nerf kitten can nerf 4 times, or the Moglo can nerf 4 times, but they cant nerf 4 times each, 2 of each, or 3 of 1 and 1 of the other ect.

MB -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/2/2007 11:44:23)

For me, Eselgee ALWAYS uses his first attack (two hit, Earth, Ranged) against Dragons. He used his second attack only against the Vartai (dunno what happens against other foes, I used Eselgee only against the current war monsters). I don't know if this is a bug or a trigger.

Yagno2000 -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/2/2007 13:36:46)

On Nerfkitten's 100%/500%/100% attack, the max damage listed is actually 500% the max damage, when in reality it should be 500% Random damage + 100% Base damage.

The L.10's nerf attack should be 1-16 damage. The L.50's nerf attack should be 3-33 damage. The L.90's nerf attack should be 5-45 damage.

Fixed.

The nerf attack itself also does 100% base, 500% random, 1x100% stat.

talking bout the "nerfing" attack of the Moglo-Habilis pet.

DragonUltraMaster -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/2/2007 17:35:04)

There is a bug in here: AQ History: Pets&Guests release (Dates)

quote:

January 2, 2005
Lesser Hippobean, Greater Hippobean.

January 28, 2005
Moglin Freak.
They has the same links. (If I click at Moglin Freak, I comes to Lesser Hippobean, Greater Hippobean instead) -.-

Fix that please,

Reign Man -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/3/2007 12:59:41)

Eselgee will always use the attack that will be the most damaging. So if a monster has 100% earth and 90% light, he will use his earth attack 100% of the time. Likewise for the light attack. If they are equal, he uses both attacks 50% of the time. I have spent the last 3 days testing this in the dragon war and combat trainer, so I know it is correct. So maybe change his entry to look something like this:
quote:

Eselgee

Type: Guest
Location: The Dragon King War

Attack Rate: 100%

ATTACK 1
Hits: 2
Type: Ranged
Element: Earth
Damage: ???
BTH: ???
Rate: See special note below

ATTACK 2
Hits: 2
Type: Melee
Element: Light
Damage: ???
BTH: ???
Rate: See special note below

SPECIAL NOTE: Eselgee will always use the attack that will do the most damage. If the monster's Earth elemental modifier is higher than it's Light, he will use ATTACK 1, 100% of the time. Likewise for ATTACK 2. If the two elemental modifiers are equal, he uses each attack 50% of the time.

jonfun8 -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/3/2007 13:39:12)

@ Reign Man
Actually I do not find this to be true, I was battling a light bringer the other day and he kept on using the light attack on it...[:@]

Klunkinator -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/5/2007 0:39:42)

Yeah Reign man. It seems he uses his earth attack against dragons in general including against the earth dragon

Keno Chao -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/5/2007 3:00:22)

He couldn't stop using the light attack against a light dragon for me.

TiamatRoar -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/5/2007 15:24:48)

He always seemed to use the WORSE attack in every situation for me. I thought that was a commentary by the AQ storywriters on how Eselgee isn't a thinking type of guy.

Asenbesen -> RE: Pets/Guests (11/6/2007 6:47:36)

In the encyclopedia entry for the Little Trobble, its special ability is struck out. However, it still does grow when it bounces, as seen here(fully grown Little Trobble in the battle against the Dragon King). Its damage doesn't increase, though.
So this line in the entry:
quote:

Special: When it jumps, it grow a little. This increases its damage every time, to a maximum of 5-35.
should be changed to
quote:

Special: When it jumps, it grows a little. This increases its damage every time, to a maximum of 5-35.
The struck out link to the image of the big Little Trobble should also be changed, so that it isn't struck out anymore.

Twig

NOTE: Also available as a Guest in Trobbled Hans.

Price: 800
Level: 55
Sellback: 160
Location: Crater Quest Shop
Training Difficulty: 20

ATTACK 1
Hits: 2
Damage: 6-18 each
BTH: +0%
Element: Water
Attack Type: Ranged
Attack Rate: ?

ATTACK 2
Hits: 1
Damage: 6-18
BTH: +0%
Element: Ice
Attack Type: Ranged
Attack Rate: ?

Description: I wuv fish and ice cream!!

The Twig pet has NO att. rate period. His rate of att. and rate of type of att. are based on a poit of no return system. This point being his starting place, to the left and on the place he does a water att. to the right a ice att.. To get him to att, 100% of the time it takes timeing with your att's so it is diffrent for each armour. It all has to do with when ge goes off the left side of the screen and then slides the the right. If your att's finish and when it would be Twig's turn and he is just going off the left screen or just coming out of it he does the water att., but if he has passed the point of no return and is in his slide you get the ice att.

This will need to be writen better but it is the basics of the Twig pet att. rate.

You can try it your self.
