Objective: Miner Thirtyniner has asked you to retrieve a very odd item that he believes might be drawing the elementals to the barracks.
Objective completed: Hmmm. You found what you were looking for though it didn't seem to effect the elementals much... maybe they were looking for something else.

Warlic: Something has thrown the elementals in the area out of balance.
Warlic: My friends in the mining town of Lymcrest are having some problems with them.
Warlic: The Barracks where the miners live is being swarmed by furious elementals.
Warlic: Miner Thirtyniner, the foreman, thinks that they might be after a special item inside the barracks.

Miner Thirtyniner: I won't let any of my miners, human or dwarf, back into the barracks until those blasted elementals are gone.
Miner Thirtyniner: One of the miners thinks that they are after his <Random Item>. It should be in a chest in one of the rooms.
Miner Thirtyniner: Be sure to check all the rooms until you find it. Maybe that will get rid of them.
