Did the Cold come down to being virulent undeath in the end or not? If it was, then maybe all the Hadeni have the Cold. I recall it not being that though.

Also, something that's been nagging me: Why would there be autarchs plural? Autarchs don't exactly strike me as the type who collaborate easily. Madder and the others must be pretty hard-pressed if they're teaming up, yet they're confident enough to tell everyone that the warpforce shall fall. Unless it's propaganda?

This is going to sound like Godwin's Law but, have you ever heard of Hitler, Mussolini and Hiro-Hito? ;-p

What I mean is that autarchs have historically allied with others in attempts to extend their power via conquests. It generally works as long as none of them meddles in the internal affairs of the others and they don't clash when dividing the conquered territories.

Another possibility is that the autarchs in WF (and I have the feeling that Dark Madder and Lord Terror are said autarchs) are related somehow. They could be a couple, or brother and sister, making it more natural for them to cooperate.

Autarchs related to each other are more likely to meddle with each other, I think. Look at all the politics of royal families. especially the places where they keep killing their families off.
I guess they could have teamed up though. But I'm still going to call you on Godwin's Law.

I really want to know what "The Amada" refers to. Maybe it's just someone who really respects Admiral Amada, but I doubt that.
