 Mana Cascade

Water spell, overcharged, 4-hits, neutral accuracy and damage leans. Pays 175% Melee in MP instead of the normal 125% Melee to deal +25% spell damage. Sacrifices 100% Melee to attempt a 4-turn 12.5% Melee Water Burn after each hit that connects, and also sacrifices another 25% Melee to attempt a 1-turn 12.5% Melee Water Burn that targets enemy MP after each hit that connects. If the enemy is below the standard MP value to cast a spell for its level, then the MP Burn will not be attempted, and the regular Burn will instead be 15.625% Melee. These are 30% saves due to MC, inflicting with INT/LUK vs enemy DEX/LUK for both Burns.

Overcharged Darkness spell, 4 hits with a 0.7 random lean and neutral accuracy lean, player is given two options when casting. Deals +25% damage, so has a base of 250% Melee for damage, MC puts a -20 on the saves instead of them being 50%. Both status effects inflict with INT/LUK vs enemy DEX/LUK, with the aforementioned -20 penalty to the save as MC.

Searing Rage: Sacrifices half of spell's damage (so 125% Melee) to attempt a 4-turn 15.625% Melee Burn after each connected hit.

Blinding Rage: Sacrifices 59.5% Melee from spell's damage to attempt a 4-turn -(5 x MobDarkRes) BtH Blind after each connected hit.

Northern River Style: Relentless Erosion & Praetorian Onslaught: Burning River's March

Water and Fire skills, locked to Melee, efficient so they're only 25% Melee in SP cost to cast, 2 hits, neutral accuracy/damage leans. They deal -37.5% damage vs normal spells/skills to hit 125% Melee. When cast, you get two options, either raw damage, or paying extra SP cost to attempt to inflict a -(37.5 x Hits)% DmgDlt Choke on the enemy for 1 turn. The value of the Choke is unaffected by the enemy's resists, but the SP cost for the Choke is. Baseline, the Choke is worth (75 x 0.85 (needs to hit) x 0.5 (baseline save for 50% inflict rate, MC puts -20 on the save, however, so goes up to 70% inflict rate) x 1.4 (reducing mob damage) = 44.625) = 44.625% Melee. From there, the cost is given a /MobRes adjustment, so if the mob has 150% Fire res, then the cost for the Fire skill's Choke attempt is 44.625 / 1.5 = 29.75% Melee.

Kam edit: At worst, the mob resistance is capped at /0.1 for lowest, just to ensure there's no /0 shenanigans.

 In the Sharks! Limited Time Shop: Bloodthirsty/Ravenous Sharkicane. Kam says:

Water spells, separate items. Neutral accuracy leans, but 0.7 random leans, 5 hits.

Bloodthirsty version deals +5% damage for its MC, and also will eat up to 400% Melee worth of Bleed from the enemy to hit you with a single tick of HP healing after all 5 hits are done, with the value of this tick being = to the amount of Bleed eaten. This is done as a hit of the spell, so it'll be influenced by things like your INT, any spell boosts you have active, etc. The healing is given x0.85 since it does auto-hit.

Ravenous version pays 50% of spell damage (so 100% Melee) to attempt a 5-turn -6.67 END Fragile after each hit of the spell that connects. This inflicts with INT/LUK vs mob's END/LUK, MC gives it a -20 penalty on the mob's save instead of the normal +/- 0.

Also has Lv 31/85/125/143 Z Token versions, costing 737/2409/4620/5940 tokens each.

 GGB UltraRare: Skullcrusher Barrage

MC Fire spell. Costs standard MP cost plus an additional [38% Melee] SP. Four hits.

Against monsters below power:150, the spell deals standard damage. 4% of the time, it has the same effect as Power Word Die (Death-element damage equal to the monster's HP). If the monster survives it gains the Dying status (gets PWD'd at the end of each turn, permanent, not dispellable), renamed Crushed Skull.

Otherwise, the spell does -50% damage and leaves the monster Fragile (-49.3 END, 5 turns), subject to a save at a +0 bonus (inflict with INT/LUK, resist with END/LUK).

 Spore Storm

Quickcast spell, usable once per turn. Comes in STR, DEX, and INT variants. Costs 50% Melee worth of [SP/SP/MP] and 50% Melee worth of HP.

Does two "token" hits (deals exactly 1 damage, only affected by the mob's resistances, rounded randomly), Wind [Melee/Ranged/Magic], that don't affect anything about how the spell works but allow it to work with Necromancer effects and stuff. You gain Spore Shield (power:0.25, 1 turn), which inflicts Spore on the mob for each hit it does that connects (max 4). The power is scaled off your [STR/DEX/INT], being half that at 0 $stat and equal to that at expected $stat.

MC: If the mob has a capped instance of Spore, then increase the cap by 100%.

 Chrono Phoenix

Fire spell/skill, 4 hits, spell deals Magic damage, skill does Melee damage if using a Melee weapon, Ranged damage otherwise. Has a 0.6 random damage lean and a +5 accuracy lean. Is Overcharged, paying +50% Melee in MP/SP for spell/skill respectively, bumping up the base damage to 250% Melee, 260% with MC. Sacrifices MC and enough damage to = 140% Melee after accounting for mob's resistances to apply a 1-turn Celerity on player and their misc/pet/guest. Basically weaker mob Fire res means you sacrifice less damage to get the guaranteed attempt, so effectively the spell gets +5% damage (10% Melee) MC, and then pays -(70 / MobResMult)% damage (so total of -(140 / MobResMult)% Melee) to attempt the Celerity. So with a 130% Fire res mob, the spell gets +5% damage for MC, and then loses (70 / 1.3 = ~53.85)% damage to attempt Celerity. If the mob's Fire res is below 54%, then the damage penalty is not applied and the Celerity is not attempted. This is because 140 / 0.54 = 259.26% Melee, and that's basically all that you've got from the spell's total value. This doesn't require any hits actually connect, just that the spell was fired. Basically this is similar to the Surge spell from a few years ago, except guaranteed attempt of Celerity (as long as mob isn't below 50% res), with mob's Fire res just affecting how much damage is required to be paid.

Edit: Also now has an outleveling penalty if the player's level is higher than the item's power level. Each level difference gives a bit under a 1% chance that the Celerity won't fire, rolled on the first hit attempted. If the Celerity fizzles, the damage penalty does not occur, and the spell is essentially a standard Overcharged damage spell for that cast.

 Prime Sleighguard Blessing [MP]/[SP]

Light quick-cast spell/skill, has a 2-turn cooldown (so can be used every other turn). Charges 200% Melee in MP or SP, respectively, with 50% Melee of the effect granting player a -(25 x MobLightRes /1.4)% DmgTkn universal EleShield, and the remaining 160% Melee (total value 210% Melee due to it being MC) being applied as a healing spell-like effect on the player, using END for stats, gets x0.85 for being auto-hit but does not get an always useful penalty since it's affected by mob's LightRes, the healing from this is then applied to the player as a Barrier. The LightRes checks have a minimum of 10% as a minimum value.

 Legion's Unraveling Nightmare + Unraveling Nightmare update

Basically an Ice clone of the Unraveling Nightmare spell/skill. We've tweaked how we do Overcharged stuff, so this is getting an adjustment. Basically, used to be stuff had a x4/3 cost and x29/24 Dmg, now we instead charge +50% Melee in MP or SP, and the spell/skill gets +25% DmgDlt, so that's how this'll be tweaked. So first turn you cast the spell's for 175% Melee in MP or 150% Melee in SP, along with 15% Melee in HP cost, as well as inflict yourself with -9 MRM DefLoss for 2 turns. Second turn you pay the same HP/MP/SP as before, and actually fire the damage component. In total, this is the sum of the damage.

  • x2.01 baseline damage since it's two turns worth of turn + costs, and has a one-turn delay on being fired.
  • +100% Melee DmgDlt for two turns of Overcharged's +50% Melee in MP or SP cost.
  • +30% Melee DmgDlt for two turns of 15% Melee in HP cost.
  • +30% Melee DmgDlt for two turns of -9 MRM DefLoss, since 1 turn of -3 MRM DefLoss is worth 5% Melee, so adds up to 30% Melee total.
  • +20% Melee DmgDlt due to two turns of +5% spell damage MC.

    Spell/Skill, these are "status bombs" similar to Surtr's Promise, and have two 1-damage hits for the sake of triggering anything that normally triggers on spell hits, first hit, if it connects, attempts to inflict a -(35 x MobFireRes)% DmgDlt Panic, has a -10 penalty to the save, so expected to last 1.5 turns on average. This eats up 62.475% Melee worth of the spell's 200% Melee baseline (-35% Melee in DmgDlt, x1.4 since it's affecting enemy damage, x1.5 for assumed duration, and x0.85 since it needs to hit, so total of 62.475), so the remaining 137.525% Melee is used to have the second hit attempt to inflict a (137.525 / 0.5 for 50% Melee save, and /5 for # of turns it lasts = 55.01)% Melee Fire Burn that lasts 5 turns. Both of these effects use INT/LUK vs mob CHA/LUK for the Panic and DEX/LUK for the Burn for the spell, with the skill instead using STR/LUK for the infliction stat if using a Melee weapon, DEX/LUK otherwise.

    		 Azure Bloom

    Water spell, 4 hits. Charges an extra 50% Melee in HP cost for +25% DmgDlt, and a further +5% DmgDlt as MC. Pays 150% Melee in damage (so -75% DmgDlt) to attempt a 4-turn (150 / 0.5 / 4 / 4 = 18.75)% Melee Water Poison after each successful hit. Inflicts with INT/LUK vs enemy END/LUK, 50% save.

    The Second Bloom

    Water spell, 4 hits. Charges an extra 50% Melee in HP cost for +25% DmgDlt, and a further +5% DmgDlt as MC. Eats up to 400% Melee worth of Poison on the enemy to gain an equal amount in +DmgDlt (so max of +200% DmgDlt for eating 400% Melee of Poison).

    Darkness spell. Has a 2/3 random lean, and pays HP to auto-hit. You're paying HP as though you were dealing *0.85 damage, since that's the penalty for auto-hit. So you pay (0.15/0.85) =0.176470588% Melee, this applies to a spell, which is 200% Melee base, so *2, so 0.352941176 ~= 35.29% Melee. MC effect is that if the foe is currently afflicted with Burn, the spell does +10% damage.

    If the monster is afflicted with Daze (relaxing beach vacations...), then the spell eats up to 400% Melee worth of Daze to boost your damage by that amount.
