You know DWeird, I realized something I didn't catch earlier today while you mentioned this to me. Why would an ageless scholar mistake illusions with a creature in black, probably a darkness user? ;D

Lord Memphis is. Lord Memphis is, however, still waiting for his promised post from Rational for the illusion to be cancelled.

Edit: Ah, nevermind waiting. Threw in my next post. After all, I know OOC the illusion fades after a few seconds anyway, so I can let that event occur in-character, yes?

And to clarify. That Iodine. Though it's aiming for Rational, it's been sloshed all around the place, and going everywhere. Make of that what you will.

Because 'Dark' maybe implies control over shadows, as my second post sort of tells. Also, Kard materialised out of thin air, which sort of looks like an invisibility spell fading out. Probably should've made it clearer in the post, but it seemed obvious to me at the time. My character works with what he's got, and what he's got are appearances. <.<;

*Rational sighs* Never mind the fact that I've been waiting on your post, Memphis, as I told you the illusion would go away in but a few seconds... >.< But that's all in the past now. Better go work on a post.

EDIT: My apologies, Memphis. It seems I actually did say that my post would be up... Damn it all, I forget all about that. Anyway, working on the post right now.

Now, is that PURE iodine, or a dilute solution of it? Because if it's pure, I'm amazed that there was no painful reaction to applying it to an OPEN WOUND. That stuff stings! I also ask because the dilution would mean more water. :D

It's a heavily diluted solution of it. Appoximately 10% Iodine in an ethanol base. That's your average medical Iodine used in emergency kits, etc.

Hm, the spatuloon softened in the water and Karddicj ate it afterwards. That was the bug goo, which I should've said earlier in ooc instead of saying rubbery material, but eh.

So, damsel youre attacking me as well or are you attacking Gedds character? I assume its mine as Gedds is not moving I dont think.

Oh and GoN, you used the metal to create a thin armor right? What would you say could penetrate it? Also, was the metal from youre character, or from the arena? Just wanna make 100% sure. But I do have ideas for a post, but I just want to make sure so I dont say something that isnt right.

Attacking neither. She's taking up a defensive stance with Roch basically between you and her. Picture this:

Pillar -> Enya -> Roch -> Your character

The plan is that if Roch doesn't provide the 'right' answers, she may well use you to help flank Roch in order to take him down. That more clear?

Edit: Also the metal Roch used was the same stuff as was prior in his armor. The arena itself repels all attempts to alter it in that kind of fashion, so the walls, floor, and spikes are right out.

Ok, I just wanted to make 100% sure.

Edit: Oh yea, I totall forgot about his armor. I thought that he used metal from the arena and I started to get confused and I also thought that he used all the metal to create the pillar. Makes things a lot clearer now.

The metal I used was from the strip I used to create the wall... originally part of my suit of armor, same as the wall. There's fifty pounds of it, about enough for a normal-sized suit of armor... just unbelievably thin as opposed to his usual 600 lbs version.

As far as piercing it? Well, not like you could pierce tin foil. But if you could pierce a good... I dunno, half inch of steel? Sure.

But if you'd wait for Roch to reply to Enya, I'd be much obliged.

Ehem, I'm sorry but I'm going to have to insert my wisp of a man and sickly boy into this little meeting :p (to quote damsle and GoN.)

So be prepared!

Post is up. Tell me if there is anything that you see wrong with it. I am also really excited for this match up.

I have no idea what's going on with your shield, N. How, exactly, is it oriented?

Also, Selah IS moving towards Roch, Enya, and Cale... but very slowly. So don't panic. Also it would be nigh impossible to notice.

In addition to TD's question about your shield, I have some other questions N3344.

How hard is the packed earth of your sword and shield? Are we talking diamond, granite, sandstone?

Second, how much power is behind the thrust at Roch's armor? Is it just normal human strength, or more than that?

quote:

He hated metal so much. It was false earth to him and everytime he encountered it, he could always feel himself slowly falling apart.

And third, you mentioned that you were weakened by "false earth". What relevance does that have to the attack on my steel armor, if any?

Oh Nightly:

I think that is rather unfair.

Jon is still weaker on the left and if he moves to quickly he will feel a lot of pain. Otherwise he's in good fighting condition.

EDIT:
I thought your last post said he was growing it back Nightly.

EDIT2:
Making a new one then. However, Jon was not in position to see you hand (or stump), so he has no idea what is wrong with you.

Making a construct is different. Making a construct, in the heat of battle, without proper tools and rest is a lot harder.

Fair enough.

En garde!

TD: Ok, so imagine the shield has the similar appearance to this: http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l264/N3344/bite-sized-dante-arrives-early-2008.jpg . And when its being used towards Roch, Cale is holding it up towards his axe and using his other arm to attack. Hope that Ive cleared things up a bit there.

GoN: 1. Relatively hard, which I guess in comparison would be similar to that of a diamond.
2. Well, its a pretty good thrust. Lets just say that its a little bit above average of a normal human.
3. This weakness is more of a mental kind of thing than any at all. Since Cale does have some sort of a bond with the earth, he feels that metal isnt real earth which puts him in kind of a shocked/depressed state of mind. Lets just say that its more of a thing thatll slow Cale down.

Posted. For the info, the middle person is where the arrows were fired from, and there is two people to his right, and two people to his left. Guts is the one on the left closest to the middle person. Now, I'm going to sleep. G'night.
