There are two ways. I will tell you the easiest.

Copy it. Go to your game's folder. Go to Graphics and go to Characters. Click Paste.
To make it in all games go to Graphics in the RMXP Folder. Go to Characters and click Paste.

To make the backround invisible (if it's not already) open the file in Microsoft Photo Editor. Choose Tools and click set transparent color. Click on that color on the picture. You can do this to as many colors as you want.

You might want to change where you download RPG Maker XP from crankeye to Download.com as the crankeye one is apparently illegal or something.

 Neil, you might find it easier to simply use the resource mnager tool on rmxp, its located in the main toolbar, from there simply select Graphics/Charsets from the submenu, you can then set the transparent and translucent colour for your charset, and it will be instantly in teh game, i prefer it this way, it means u can do it all in rmxp and saves opening up so many apps to do so

On that website that script needs to seperated out it can't all be on one line. And here's a really good website for scripts. Really good website But you will have to register when you click one of the things.

Post sig only once per page.

Kaos, that is outdated. RMXP.net changed their system and the Forums are different so those links don't work.

 ....i gathered that. Please don't try and patronise, it's pointless, just as this program is. If you had any real desire to create an RPG you would learn to program, it's not that advanced, languages are allways easy to learn, and don't give me none of that crap about it being an easy starting point, you gain next to no experience from it at all, it's pointless, it's for people who want an easy solution to making a stupid game that only they will care about, its POINTLESS i tell ya, i was once like every one of you, i used the program, i am now learning various ways of programming and i can safely say RMXP hasn't come in handy AT ALL in any aspect of my learning, and I'm doing a course in college, so thers a lot of learning there, its not a starter program, its not a platform and it certainly isn't helpful, it's the Paint of game developement.....

Saying that though, i'm still willing to answer any questions anyone may have regarding the program, because i'm a nice guy......

I know coders for rmxp who work on scripts for months to make them perfect its just as hard the make a good rpg game on rmxp and flash

 the scripting is advanced, but how many people out there can actually script??

one person makes the scripts, and then everyone else just uses them, i was referring to the average RMXP usage, where you just click a button and it generates an event.....it's a good program, it's just overused.

In the FAQ you said it is impossible to have more than 9999 health. It's not. A script here can make it possible.

im still working on my games

chaos fighters: is loads of little games all realated to it its good way to sell you're game if the story line for that game is getting dry
