How... Ironic. The person who kills me because of a cut, will get killed himself because of the same reason. Don't you just love it?

Anyways, good fight, Krey. Oh yeah, thanks a lot. You literally crushed Blaze into nothing. Heeh, that's not the best way to die, is it?

On the topic of cuts, I wonder if we'll get to the elemental champion choosing phase before everybody gets cut.

I would hope that Ged doesn't get cut due to being idle. It would be a tragedy to be replaced by someone at the last minute who didn't even bother posting enough to keep his character alive. Let's go Ged!

And good luck to the others as well, namely TD, GoN, and Clyde.

What? I'm not supposed to be cheering for all of the remaining contestants?

Speaking realistically... it doesn't seem likely that Grey will be killed. Zenz and Galvian are occupied with each other, Roman and Tel'rion are similarly preoccupied. Unless Grey makes a spiteful attack to invite such death-dealing retaliation, he could probably leave without getting getting hurt.

For the record, Guardian of Nekops, I did outlast Cheeseliker last year fair and square before Kell and then Beebote fell to idleness.

By the way, as delicious as the irony of a replacement winning it all would be, I am now rooting for you, if for no other reason that I want to see you get the monkey of finishing second off of your back.

 Due to unforeseen circumstances, today's cut will be delayed from its typical 2 PM announcement time until later this evening. Any idle choices, were they necessary, would be calculated at the 2 PM time...though, to be fair, I don't think Idle applies today.

Pondering what could be a potentially HIGHLY controversial cut, depending on who is watching and rooting on whom.

Well, this post might have been a different one if cut wasn't late... but it would still have been made regardless of the results, so here it is.

In case it isn't clear, Roman's path after the three zig-zag leaps takes him past Tel'rion, rather than right on top of him. If Tel'rion does not move, Roman will pass three feet of him. The flame intended to char Tel'rion to a crisp curves just SLIGHTLY forward, and is six feet in length.

 Well, well, well...how shall I say this? While idle cuts, Lords Forbid that they would even have been necessary, would've been judged as per the normal deadline...I never said any posts made prior to the cut announcement would not be judged. My decision is now...rather less controversial, and puts me in the same mood as when I cut Kellehendros. I am not a particularly happy camper about this, especially with why it is coming about, and that is the latest post of this competitor swinging the decision firmly into their camp.

TormentedDragon, I am rather certain we will be seeing you next year. However, this year's Final Three will be between Clyde, Geddesmck, and Guardian Of Nekops. A rather pleasant surprise, all told, as long as I'm not dwelling on the circumstances that led to this.

E: Final Three will run until...we'll say Wed at roughly noon, given how 'late' in the day this cut came. A little over 5 days, yes, but close enough. IDLE WILL BE ENFORCED, however, at exactly 72 hours from your prior post. OOC notice is required for any delay, including "proofreading at the deadline".

TD, I would know your will for Roman. Tel'rion's preference, I think, would be to leave him alive, but a worthy death could certainly be aranged instead. Ball's almost entirely in your court in that regard.

Clyde, Geddesmck, congratulations on reaching the Final Three! I wish you both luck, though that doesn't mean I'll be pulling punches. :-P

Five days... let's see if we can't get some serious head-cracking done in that time. ^^

Roman should survive. I fully intend to post his exit once all have made their own responses and such. If you wish to douse his flames, feel free, perhaps bloody him a bit, but make no mistake: he'll be leaving the arena a proud beast.
