There are 2

Emerald Star
Increases you CHA 5
Can be found after the astroid quest you get from the admiral at the bridge

Temura's Trust
Increase CHA 10 and gives -1% water and -2% light
Can be found after wieving the cutscene with Temura's past. You can watch it by asking about her past. (She is outside the WarpGuardian tower)

BlackFlameWarrior: At the moment the best and only armor you can get is the Retro Armor, found in the stat trainers shop (bottum of the ship).

So I'm guessing the starting class doesn't matter much like in AQ but the stats decides the build right?

Leon~o: Yes stats determine how good your character will be, but right now it doesn't do much because there are few armors.

theres no mage weapon in game so a mage should only use tech skills? also its not written that DEX adds ranged damage.

so does that mean ranged weapons are affected by dex and str is not needed?

1. do you receive a penalty for using the wrong weapon type like in DF?
2. are stat damage formulas the same as AQ?
3. did they fix the bug with the Rocket Launcher's special yet?

You can't really have a 'build' at this time, as we can only reach level 10. But I presume it would if we had more stat points and a higher level.

1. There is no penalty, just less damage, unless the resistance it so low and it heals the monster.
2. Slightly, if you want to see each stat talk to the stat trainer and hit train, the right side will show what each stat does.
3. Yes it has been fixed, clear your cache and reload the page.

my question is for a mage that is a char that spams skills and tech, what weapon should they use. what would be closest to a BMM in AQ? im trying to make a BMM and BW but since there are no mage weapons available i wonder how can that be done?

It appears there is no mage class in WF. They apparently decided to instead have damage spells deal only a little more damage than weapons. They also cost much less mana than in AQ. Currently IMP is the only damage spell. Note that some weapons have magic specials, though I don't know if they receive stat bonuses or not.

im talking about the trained stats to use a melee weapon and to use a ranged weapon. the dex description doesnt say it adds ranged damage and str description doesnt say that either so what adds ranged damage?

Use Gunner and guns for weaponry. There's a reason IMP isn't a big cost/big result spell like AQ.

Are there any weapons/armors that convert melee into ranged or ranged into melee? Or possibly magic into either? Thanks.
