It will be good to see Galrick back in action. Having him on the Alteon makes sense, since -if I understood it correctly- Falerin's intervention to save his life created a sort of agreement that kept him alive but banished him from Lore... but not from the Lorian universe, I guess. So as long as he doesn't set foot on the planet, he should be fine.

Can you imagine monthly wars? plenty of time to get rares!!!
On the guardian page it says the releases are weekly is that a typo?
Or did they decide to change it?(not likely)
Levels:I think the cap is going to be raised before game is live

Hey guys, I just saw something.
So I made a secondary character, which is a girl. When I played, the striker armor for boy and girl are the same, but on the Retro and Adventure Armors, there is a difference that makes it a bit more feminine.

Cant wait to upgrade WarpForce. The WarpGuardian stuff sounds too cool not to.
Also, Temura's story cutscene is the most beautiful one I've seen in a while.
LKeas' Song is perfect for it and underscores the mood nicely. Well done.

If the default armor isn't looking any different for males and females, then it's likely something to include in a bug report.

Well, either that, or the girl version isn't done yet. More possible since both gunner and Striker are the same armors, one of them is likely to change too, possibly.

Beta Testing Feedback

Generally, I'm optimistic about the game, I'm really enjoying MechQuest right now and like getting into the SciFi more with WarpForce. My comments below may seem negative, but I hope they're not taken that way - I only detailed things I thought needed to be fixed. Generally, there's a lot I like!

Animation
* The breathing is too pronounced - looks like all the humans have asthma.
* Weapon throw look like pistol whipping or spear stabbing
* Generally the animation looks like AQ, which means not as good as AQW, MQ, or DF. The intent is understood, the result is disappointing.

Interface
* When creating a character, there was no explanation of the difference between a Stiker or a Gunner, and apparently no differences between Elf, Drakel, and Humans other than appearance.
* I have Medic I and IMP, I don't know what the 89 and 8 listed beside them mean, and there's nothing telling how many points they use.
* The potions don't tell how much restoration they do.
* Please give volume control and skips for the cut scenes!

Combat
* Gauntlet blast works even if I don't have a gauntlet!
* Combat takes forever, too many misses and too low damage - I realize this is low level, but it seems r-e-a-l-l-y time consuming. Even at level 1 it shouldn't take several hits by light sabers, laser pistols, or whatever - drop the weapons and use fists if they don't do more damage than that!

Again, I generally enjoyed the game, waiting for missions!

Has anyone else seen the art for the Alien Zard? I know its a lot like the Void Dragon, but it looks awesome!

1.That is because there IS none(for now at least)and the striker and gunner they are self explaining
2.The 89 and 8 mean how much they cost
3.Its random, very random
4.Agreed
5.Its supposed to.You are doing harm damage
6.We are still in beta and the weapons are actually suposed to hit that low and miss

A valid complaint for the races. I believe a difference is planned, and there should be something telling players what that/those difference(s) is/are. As for Striker and Gunner... that should be obvious. One shows a sword and one shows a gun. You pick either direct combat or indirect. I feel those two are self-explanatory.

If your computer doesn't allow you to turn volume up and down, then you have a poor computer. If you need the sound off, then mute it in the options. They're not that hard to find.

That is quite on purpose. If you don't have a Gauntlet, then the stats for the blast falls back to the armor.

I just wish they would fix the root problem with the graphics: the frame rate. It tops out at 13-14 FPS, which means the animation itself is extremely choppy. It needs to be 31+, and it wouldn't take that much more time to do. Just that one thing would make the game much more visually appealing, but it seems like the animation method used is the same way it has been for years. If all the graphics in this game are going to be better, why not improve that as well? I know the undertaking would be enormous for AQ, but since WF is so young, it could be done without too much trouble, right? At the very least, more animations could have a blur effect for motion, to cover for the slow frame rate, at least on the things that are already moving too fast for us to tell anyway. I've seen this for some of the new enemies, and I'm very impressed by it. I hope they incorporate it more.

As for the player character's animations...has its idle animation ever changed from that eyesore style of a loop? The PC should have the best animation, and look the best, because players are going to have to be looking at it for a very long time! I was really disappointed with the appearance of any customization options - My female elf? I cringed the moment I saw it from head to toe. My Drakel? Looks like washed-out garbage with squiggly lines. I know it's just a beta, but the base appearance of the characters is in drastic contrast with the complex and, admittedly, good-looking battlesuits. I made a Drakel anyway, desperately hoping their faces would be given updated graphics before the main release. Honestly, my character in AQ looks much better than either - and so does Huntress, which is odd since she's an NPC. Sure, we see her a lot in this game, but wouldn't it be nice if our more humanoid characters could receive the attention to detail that she does? I just hope we'll eventually get helmets.

levels: 10,3,2,2,2

spreadsheet has been updated fully, now with all items from game, even temporary ones.
and now the spreadsheet says were to buy stuff, bth, and ranged/melee/magic

took 6+ hours fully finishing it like that, hope people actualy like it :)

That depends on how deep in the game engine frame rate stuff is buried. A wild guess, pretty deep.

and my spreadsheet!

it includes more items than the encyclopedia, i checked, and there sorted by damage :)

why does everyone use encyclopedia not my spread sheet? :(
