The dragon-people are the most popular. Not much surprise there.
Honestly though, the Drakel have too much on their side. Both Magic and Technology? And enlightened rulers to boot! Nope, I'm going to stick with the underdog Elves and Humans.

Actually, Rhubarb, I believe Elves and humans are merely Drakel without tails, snouts, or a interesting variety of skin types.

Gundisalvus ~ I'm actually pretty sure that the Drakel race are part dragon. The older version of the DragonBlade used to trigger it's effect on Drakels (as well as other "dragon-kind"), but they took that effect away from many enemies because they were not "purebred dragonkind". (At least that is the explanation I recall.)

@ Chris - Yeah, Dragonoids tend to hav a dra in there name. DRAconian, DRAvier, DRAkel, DRAke, DRAgon, etc.


But i think there considered to NOT be dragon kin, just have a small percent dragon, i think there more lizard, as shown by the drakel sherrif in MQ, hes a CHAMELION!

@Drakel's Origin-I honestly think they should just be taken for what they are...Drakels, An origin story would not be of any need, they are simply there own race :)

@Drakel Popularity- I was pretty certain that Drakel would be the most popular choice, simply because it is the furthest from human and offers more distinction from Human than Elves do.

@Elves (Un)Popularity- Elves are generally associated with more "typical" fantasty settings, so it doesn't shock me when I see that they are relatively behind Humans and Drakels.

Human + Elf beats drakel by a long-shot, but, without the drakels, who would build the guantlets and ships? And do the sciences the elves can't?

I wonder, if there was a war, which would win - Drakel, or human, or elf? id say drakel, as they have all the tech and more people, or elf, as there smarter, faster, and better mages then humans. So humans would, IMO, fail.

I made 3 characters, one for each race. But my main is a human, and the most played character. The rest are level 1. :/

 I made 5 characters who all have retro armor and advanced retro armor, 1 is a WG and at level 20. The WG is a human. I have one other human, 2 Drakel and 1 elf. In a month or two I'll be upgrading my second Drakel.

of course drakel is the most popular, it has the coolest faces.
the elfs are just humans with pointy ears. there is no other difference.
