I like the new format. I think it's quite well organized. Now I just have to start clicking the right places rather than doing it blindly out of habit.

Apart from what Reaper0001's statement, I have to say that I was wrong to think that we would be able to maintain our perks as being an AA/AP. I read the PM earlier in the week, but I hesitated to accept the truth of it, until now.

I did't want to delete the PMs in my Inbox due to the fact that I didn't want to erase records of who, what, when, and the why of it. I hate to see the significant of the message be gone as a waste. I really dislike to delete stuff and I dislike that the ability to hold a bigger Inbox is taken away from us. I don't mean to be hateful, of anything, but this my rightful opinion about the changes that has affected the AA/AP.

Had it to be fairly good and meet my approval, I was hoping that those whom approved in writing would keep their names and their perks as a gift. To be honest, I had hoped that we would keep those perks as recognitions for our ability to thrive so far in the L&L. In other words, I wouldn’t have took that privilege away to depress the AA/AP group.

Is it wrong for AAs/APs to not be able to preserve their own Inbox for something they attained?

Despite that I dislike the changes that affected AA/AP, everything else was grand -- don't take my first paragraphs as an insult of the flaws that I disapproved -- for the most part, I love the new formats that were added to the L&L. The new titles for the most part, but especially this:

quote:

Legends and Lore is going to be moving away from Approval. This does not belittle the process in which all of you went through to become Approved. Every one of you worked hard, did as you were asked or at least provided sufficient explanation as to why you didn't. You have represented L&L well through your talents.

When I first read this, it glimmered my heart. I felt dazed in a way that I haven't felt for ages. It really shows that someone is respecting and appreciating in what we do; affecting me in a quite emotional way and I rarely cry. And to that I give my thanks.

~ Always and forever, if never to be forgotten, a proud member of the AA/AP Group! =)

In an effort to make it easier for those who are actively participating in L&L and posting their writing, the Works Discussion forum is now set to display commentary threads by the most recent posts.

But only Works Discussion. All other forums remain as they were when we reopened L&L.

Constructively Friendly!

For anyone who doesn't like deleting PM's, you can set things up so a copy of each PM is sent to your email account as you receive them.

So... yeah. Only had to mass-delete everything from my forum inbox. =\

You can also archive your PMs. That is saved directly on your computer. Trust me... I have to archive once a month... 15 pages of PMs...

Just for confirmation, there is no need to become an approved author/poet here any longer? I can just post my work right away in the proper place?
