Yes, because it is great to try and click other order of buttons instead of the same one. But hey, I guess you just enjoy clicking the same buttons in the same order every time. Have fun! I'm one for "If it's the most efficient method, use it". So yes, I do not mind hitting the same general attack scheme every round. Of course, I do vary it up after the 1st or 2nd move sometimes, but really, if you have a powerful or useful piece of equipment that can set the pace of the battle, why bother saving it for last? It's a waste to equip a NYWarhead and not use it until the six turn, or not use the AMR's Smokescreen only as a finisher. The Skysplitter has no defined strategy, nothing that can be built-upon, and practically requires 5 weapons geared towards a specific style to be equipped to be of any real use. It could be considered a simple mech, for those tired of having to plan out their attack methods and just want to hit random attacks for awhile. That's a valid reason to like a simple mech, and it's one of the reasons I sometimes fall back to the Warbear, since I don't have to really use any particular attack order that would affect the battle much (sure, normal strategy is Head followed by any attack besides the Body, but even w/o the Head, the mech can just spam attacks at will). The difference however, is that the Warbear does specialize in one strategy, and it does so with brutal simplicity.
