@Forum:Well, if they made a Stunning Head weapon then anyone with a mech that has a default stun weapon that's not the Body now just has a potential Stun-lock, stun locks can already be achieved now due to SCMMs with stunning bodies so....the stunner's not even needed any more.

I hope for Ultima's Healer or a DOT+-BtH mech...

For some people stunning is OP.

I would simply like to say, it all depends on activation chances.

Yes, with the seed shooter, the finger zapper, the corrupted drakel, and a stunning body, you can keep them stunned until they die.

The odds of every stun succeeding:
.5*.5=.25*.5=.125*1=.125*.5=.0625*.5=.03125*.5=.015625
A little over 1% of the time.

Who is going to try 100 times?

Besides me, and a few other people, who did it for the bragging rights.
Yes, against any enemy who is not found on necryptos, you can win without stunning them every single turn.
But, with a good SCMM, how often do you lose against any enemy not found on necryptos?

The only reason stunning seems OP, is because it has the potential to kill anything, and has a lot of rolls with an OK chance, which end up having a terrible chance

stealthwings: Also depends on how many of the stuns on the defaults are resistible vs how many Immobility nerfers there are and how long they last.
Still think there's a slightly better chance for Healing type than Stunning type though.

I don't really care about stunning. Probably, it would be either game breaking, or just slightly better than what we already have. (If it had 4 stunning weapons with a cooldown of 3, it would be able to kill piotr on extreme. The chances however, would make the clowns look good)

The main stunning thing I want, is a weapon which will nerf immobility resistance AND stun, and keep the immobility resistance nerfed.

Stunning would be nice, but it would need to do low damage (no boosts) otherwise it'd be too overpowered

I sold it as soon as I saw the Nemesis, I may have been disappointed in Nemesis, but I don't HATE it(Considering re-buying it, only thing stopping me is that it has no head effect breaking SCMM tradition), Steve on the other hand....

my steve skysplitter is probably going to be my best companion for untill level 47. after that i will keep him untill level 50 then he will fall to the effect that all of us will suffer one day-destruction. yes i will keep my steve untill level 50. yes i did score 49% in an insanity test. yes i might not have been very good at making desisions. but you just cannot resist a SCMM with healing HEADS for crying out loud!

I can. I would just get Vladic Blade or something. I don't think that you only keep a mech because of one good weapon unless that weapon is the body.

I kind of liked the Nemesis. It wasn't just another flat out damage booster, the head was unique if abit bland and had a nice combo with the body, and the hidden arm and shoulder effects synergize quite well. The only thing I disliked about it was the backlash penalty for customization, which made absolutely no sense.

I definitely agree that we need another specialized mech though, defensive preferably. Though I prefer not using the term "overpowered" as liberally as you guys are.

That is a mech-sized chainsaws.
chainsaws would come out of the chest and the head and chainsaw hands.
The change for the shoulder is lazers. LAZER CHAINSAWS.
that means i could kill shadowscythe and ruin the environment at the same time.

If everybody likes Chainsaws so much, why don't they just equip Baby Jameson and get the Chainsaw shoulders from Teks? And they said Nemesis will be out another month - New Star Captains will get more time! And he is one of the best SCMM

@Master Merlin what?... how come the head is unique?It's almost exact replica of Master Blaster body...

So it came to this at last - the SCMM will miss a month.That brings the tear to my eye...one of the things i was looking forward to the most are the SCMMs but it seems MQ team simply can not catch up so Nemesis officially becomes the first SCMM that will stay for 2 months in the shops...I sincerely hope it will remain the first and only...

@Sqwall Morehawk was out for 2 months
And he meant unique not because of animation but because it doesnt have effects while every other SCMM in the entire game has a head that does something

Hellsoarer: It wasn't out for a full two months, unlike Nemesis...
It seems they might be switching over to bi-monthly (Pesky Holidays, you know), which could be a good thing, since they won't be rushed out the door (and thus, end up being...well...like Steve...I love the name, but the mech wasn't fitting for it, sadly)
