Vilmor Location: Free Fall, Donovan, The Chase, Betrayal, Sepulchure's Fortress, The Ultimate Orb, Twin Tides, Cold Call, A Trail Gone Cold Quests given None Shops owned None Dialogue Free Fall Vilmor: You continue to meddle in things that do not concern you, DragonLord. Vilmor: A Hero? Heh. Heroism is fleeting, a conceit. One day you're the hero, the next you're the hunted. Vilmor: You are nothing but a petty distraction, "Hero". Vilmor: Do not force my hand against you. I have my own quest to finish first. Vilmor: I must find Cryozen... Vilmor: ... and Donovan. Donovan Vilmor: I told you. It does not concern you. Vilmor: The only one resposible for Bask's destruction is me. I will never be able to fully atone for it. Vilmor: My ability to... "chat" doesn't diminish the evil of which I am capable. Vilmor: Hmph.. Vilmor: ... Vilmor: Donovan... was a friend. Vilmor: An orphan adopted by one of the senior DragonLords... he... he did not fit in, just as I did not. Vilmor: While others were scared of him because he was different, they were scared of me because of the power that I so easily wielded. Vilmor: In the end, we only had the other to keep each other company. Vilmor: Heh, partners in crime... Vilmor: Donovan helped me train, helped me realize my true potential. Vilmor: Woo! Let's train to be GREAT DragonLords! Vilmor: Even though Donovan could never be a DragonLord because of his mysterious background, he was one in my eyes. Vilmor: As the years wore on, I thought our friendship, our... bond through being different would win out over adversity.... Vilmor: I failed though. Vilmor: Donovan warned me... tried to warn me about Bask and the danger the Ice Orb was in. Vilmor: By the time I arrived though, the corruption must have spread throughout the whole town.... Vilmor: Cryozen sensed the danger and did not want to attack... Vilmor: I pushed forward though, to own doom. As we approached the tower we were attacked. I could not recover in time and Cryozen... Vilmor: Cryozen was injured as we crashed into the Bask Tower. Vilmor: Little remained of it.. Vilmor: I broke my bond of trust with my dragon. I failed to take heed to Donovan's warning.... and now... now Cryozen is dying. The Chase Vilmor: I do not have time for these games. Vilmor (thinking): The powder... Vilmor: Where did you get that explosive? Vilmor: HOW DID YOU GET CRYOZEN'S SCALES?! Vilmor: NO! Vilmor: You're mine. Vilmor: RRRGGGGHH!! Vilmor: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH CRYOZEN?! Vilmor: NOOOO! Vilmor: The ceiling...! Betrayal Vilmor: You... were... my friend.... Vilmor (chillingly): And me. Vilmor: Thank you, friend. Vilmor: Good-bye, Cryozen. Vilmor: Cryozen Jr.. Vilmor: *Sniffle* Vilmor: So cute! Vilmor: I have much to do to earn your trust... and my trust in myself... back. Vilmor: I hope to earn that back in time, but I fight under the banner of the DragonLords. Vilmor: You think any jail can hold me if I wish to be free? Vilmor: Donovan... he escaped to the back of the cave. I don't know if he made it out. Sepulchure's Fortress Vilmor: Cryozen! To me! <Character>! Go! Now! The Ultimate Orb Vilmor: CRYOZEN! QUICKLY!! Twin Tides Vilmor: ...Looks like they didn't need our help, after all. Vilmor: Yes, there's still a lot to clean up, isn't there? Cold Call Vilmor: That won't be necessary. Vilmor: Excuse the scare. I saw a dragonslayer approaching and got suspicious. Vilmor: Good to see you again, <Character>. Vilmor: Yes, work. Vilmor: Sorry. Habits. I don't mean any trouble either. I wasn't prepared for the complicated kind of fancy company. Hello, fellow 'Speaker'. Vilmor: I'm sure. I'd say you have the advantage of not having grown in the Order, but... Well. Come along. We'll talk on the way. Vilmor: And speaking of company... Vilmor: Hi there, cutie! Vilmor: Alright, is everyone ready for a long trip? I've got a tip on some fungus monsters that haven't dried up at all. Vilmor: They're only getting more aggressive, so I'd like to move out now. No need to go back for supplies, come in and I'll gear you up. A Trail Gone Cold Vilmor: There, that should suit your size better. Vilmor: I've made enough filters for a while, but hopefully we won't find anywhere as thick with spores as what <Character> described. Vilmor: It's nothing fancy. Vilmor: Just what I can prep for while on the move. I only fixed this place up enough to rest while we clean up the Northlands infestation. Vilmor: Which brings me to you. Vilmor: It's just you coming along, right? No other Slayers? Vilmor: Good. Vilmor: Alright. Cards on the table? I'm not comfortable with a Dragonslayer around Cryozen. Galanoth, you're about the only exception. Vilmor: I know you're all making progress out there. Opening eyes. That's good. And I get the need for an equalizer. Vilmor: But I personally can't take chances on people who think your right to live depends on being "one of the good ones". Vilmor: I'm not pushing my partner into so much danger again. So just tell me what you want from me. Vilmor: You already have people you can talk to. You clearly have people you need to tell this to. Vilmor: Ha. Alright, maybe we can work something out after all. Thanks for getting us on the same page, <Character>. Vilmor: Let's camp before it gets too dark, we'll figure it out and keep going at dawn. Vilmor: ...Before you ask: Yes; there is more to it, but it's not something I'm prepared to explain in front of Cryozen. Vilmor: Let's focus on the job this time. Vilmor: That's what was tripping me up. There were only ever sightings, and they were gone by the time Cryozen and I flew over to investigate. Vilmor: I couldn't tell if the reports were wrong, or if something hid any time they saw a dragon flying. Either way, I couldn't keep wasting his energy. Vilmor: Alright, so they've got the habits and instincts without the skills. Vilmor: Making a mess of prey, but covering their prints with their wings and hiding in snow. Vilmor: The problem is that if you're right, and these Hollow are mimicking a Dravir hunting party instead of single hunters or pairs of them... Vilmor: Then we're headed to Ice Elf lands, not Dravir homesteads. Right into Aisha's domain. Vilmor: Cryozen and I prefer to work on our own, but numbers will actually help this time. Just be careful and we'll be fine. Vilmor: Besides, the kiddos are having fun. Appearance without helm Young Vilmor Appearance Book 3 Appearance Thanks to Jay for images and corrections.
