@Dwelling, I suspected that was her question, but wanted to be sure. Had it been a plot related question that I ended up not addressing, I'd have to go back again and fix it. I don't want to do that :P

Fixed. I'd forgotten that I had already described the crest, in part at least. Its been changed to this:

Short story up, finally got around to posting this. Function over Fashion explains why my character from L&L looks so differently from my NPC.

I've continued writing TLoaH between classes, but its all hand written in my notebook and I haven't yet typed it up. Currently exploring a different kind of shaman I learned about in art class, with sand painting.
